Wow! Our tour was awesome! Austin is a rockstar at being a guide! We left the tour overflowing with facts and stories. The only disappointment is that we can't remember everything! Will be recommending this company and Austin to anyone coming to visit. Thank you, Austin!!!

This was a great tour. I especially enjoyed touring the cathedral. Our tour guide, Austin was not only very informative, but a great host. Whenever the group split off, he was sure to be sharing with someone, such as me, and keeping us on schedule. Thank you Austin from Dr. Claudia

My choir, Sounds of Joy, made our first-ever trip from The USA to sing and visit with our choir friends in County Mayo. After our time there we traveled by motor coach to Dublin to spend the last few days seeing the sights. A walking tour was set up by our travel planner, 115 Travel, for our first full day in the city. Oh my, what a great day we had with our super terrific tour guide, Austin Rock! Let me tell you how much we all enjoyed the day. Austin was THE best! He met us at our hotel, traveled with us into City Centre, gave us an overview of what the morning would include and started off our time at Christ Church Cathedral. His knowledge of Irish history, the must see sights of the city including Trinity College and surrounding area, his accommodating personality and sense of humor confirmed we were in good hands. He managed to keep track of us all and showed great patience for those of us who wandered off for souvenir shopping. He gave great directions for us to use when touring by ourselves later that day and the next.We continued on our own walking (spending) tour for several more hours, even taking the tram service LUAS, back to the hotel without issue. (Thanks Austin) We will remember this trip and him! We hope to return and when we do, Austin well be our pick for touring! He may even get us a chance to sing for a service at the cathedral.

My husband and I visited Dublin for three days. The most important thing for us with such limited time was securing a private tour that would provide us not only with the lay of the city and community but also a sense of the history and culture. We were very fortunate to have Austin Rock as our guide through Dublin Tour Guide. He was easy going, adapted the tour to our interests and gave us a wealth of information that we would never have received from a large group tour or self-guided tour. While our tour lasted only 5 hours, we were able to visit and experience much of Dublin, from the National Archeological Museum, Trinity College and the Book of Kells, to walking historic Dublin and Dublin Castle and learning about the Irish Revolution. We were interested in the religious side of the city and visited Christ Church, St. Audeon's Church and much more. Austin found out that we wanted to go to Howth the next day and sent us information on bus and train access and a map of Howth to make our trip there fun and without stress about going someplace we didn't know at all. He also gave us suggestions if we have an hour or two left and wanted to see something special, which we did! I would recommend Austin Rock to anyone else wanted an immersion into Dublin history, culture and city life.

First of all, the venue for the tour (Dublin) was amazing ... but the very best part of it all was our guide, Carl. I would give him 6 stars if I could.
Our first stop was a sit-down that featured a 20 minute walk though Irish history that was concise, complete and captivating. From there we walked through amazing scenery, bits of history, and even some of the local color on both sides of the river. With lots of laughter along the way.

This was our first time hiring a private tour company, and we could not have imagined a better experience. Carl was the best possible guide, as his knowledge and perspective on Irish (and Dublin) history was exactly what we were looking for. He clearly loves his city. He took us to some fascinating, out-of-the-way places we would never have known about, and shared perspective about current affairs with insight and wit. He recommended a pub where we had a great dinner afterward. He is also very, very funny. The booking experience was straightforward and the communication before the tour was good. Can't recommend enough.

Mark Hanratty took my husband and I around on a private five-hour walking tour of Dublin. The tour was a perfect mix of history and legend, and we never felt like Mark was rushing to the next thing or losing track of time. We saw so much but never felt overwhelmed. Mark was knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. We had a great time and we would definitely recommend to others.
