Colleen was awesome my review is nothing to do with her! 2 of the 5 places we went to were closed and she had to figure out other places to go on the fly. I didn’t feel that the food we got came even close to the price I paid for this tour. I could have done it and saved money. We also spent a lot of time going into stores… not what I wanted to do. I enjoyed learning little things about the town and seeing the murals. I also would have enjoyed things to eat that you can only get in Nashville not chains… Also, not really sure what the “secret” menu item was… again this was not Colleen I think the company has some things they need to work out. I typically enjoy food tours and can’t finish the food and didn’t feel that way but they could also be that two of the places were closed.

Josh was a great guide, fun and informative! All of the food was delicious, great picks. I was disappointed we didn’t get to try the biscuit or milkshake noted on the website, but we were still so full and happy by the end! Would definitely recommend for everyone who likes trying foods when they travel. Our group had kids and it is definitely family friendly.

I like to do these food tours, it’s a great way to get to know a new city. The East side tour did not disappoint. We got to try some great bites while learning about the area. Our tour guide, Colleen, was Fabulous… she had an incredible energy and was full of great tips & local info! I would definitely recommend.

Our food tour in Nashville did not disappoint. We have done many food tours all over the US - Nashville-actually, East Nashville - is a hidden gem. Our guide Josh was exemplary. He was knowledgeable, informative and very personable. He engaged all of us - there were 8 people on the tour (a perfec size) - which was a great touch. The food samplings were delicious and plentiful; so much so that he suggested a "to go" bag at our last stop. That suggestion alone was genius. Overall, a food tour is always a good way to learn about a new area. When the guide is as good as Josh was - it is just a bonus!

Excellent food and walk around 5 points. From established bars to elevated burgers, there was plenty of variety. It is the best Nashville Food Walk we have had.

We did the East Nashville walking food tour with Secret Food Tours. This was my 10th food tour. I have been on them all across the US and this was disappointing. For the price we paid it was not good as all. We made 4 stops total. The 1st stop we had 2 choices, either Nashville Hot Chicken or Devlied Eggs. The Deviled Eggs were good but we got 1 egg. Eggs are small and don't cost much. We should have received 2 . The 2nd stop was a place that was known for it's burgers but we had a biscut with jam. It was a decent biscut but it was a biscut. The 3rd stop was a BBQ Joint. We bought the alchol package for an additional cost and got a boozie shake that was great but the food was brisket nachos. It would have been better if we each got a small plate of our own of the nachos but they brought out 3 baskets of nachos for 10 strangers to share. How gross is that? Everyone was expected to dig in, this is wrong on so many levels. Our 4th and final stop was a food hall and guess what we had there? BBQ again. This was a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on it. This was the best thing we had to eat in my opinion but nothing to write home about. Our tour guide Emma was great, full of local knowledge and she didn't pick the food it is a set thing. I have never given anything lees then 5 stars on all of the other tours I have done but this one was not good. There are others to choose from in Nashville. Choose another tour.

Our guide Josh was excellent - informative and made us feel like family. The walking was easy and allowed us to be hungry for more. Food was great too!

We enjoyed seeing a part of Nashville that we would otherwise not have ventured over to. The food was fabulous and Joshua, our guide was so informative. He knew a lot about the city and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each experience.
