The tour was pretty interesting and the pricing wasn’t bad. But their claim was for you to able to create a custom print. However, you received a pre-determined background and chose from two color options. Then you printed on “Hatch Show Print” with only one color option. So there truly isn’t any real customization. That said it was a nice tour, and the people were nice but don’t expect much from the “custom” print.

Very interesting tour. Fun to see how all those unique posters are made! A little disappointed at the souvenir poster but it's ok.

We loved learning about the history of this amazing business, and then drooled over everything in the gift shop. Such cool merch! We loved making our very own print to bring home, and then being able to observe the workers using the presses was pretty amazing. Highly recommend.

If you're interested in the history of concert posters in America (which, if you're considering this tour, I assume you are?) then this show is a worthwhile add to the CMA experience overall. Our docent was really informed and the discussion about typesetting, as well as the overall history of print advertising for concerts, was super interesting to me! I liked being able to use one of the Letterpress kits to print out a souvenir. Bailey (one of our two guides) really seemed to love her job.

The Hatch Show Print tour is the best tour in town! The Hatch Show Print knowledgeable guides made the shop’s history interesting as well as humorous.
In addition, all of the Viator personnel with whom I communicated to set up the tour were helpful and professional.

This experience was more of a history lecture with a short hands-on demo. The last time we went, it was an actual tour where we walked on the floor of the print shop and were able to see (but not touch, of course) the beautiful presses and woodblocks, etc. We even went near the shelving and saw some of the larger and older pieces such as what is displayed in the window (which is what is shown on this trip). This is truly a living museum, and seeing through the window what anyone can see on any given day is not that special. Sorry to be negative, because this is my favorite place in Nashville. But, any way, it's a stretch to call this a tour. My granddaughter was very disappointed, because I had told her of my experience. Even the souvenir printing was lacking this time around, sorry to say - Oh well, we bought a poster and a t-shirt, and I told my sweet granddaughter "the rest of the story"...

Loved it! Such a close link to so many big pop, rock and country artists from the 50s to the present day.
Two tour guides, one gave a full account of the history of Hatch, the other a breakdown on the printing process itself. Really engaging and interesting, with laughs along the way.
The souvenir print is just putting the finishing touches on an existing print, but a nice takeaway all the same.
