1. Duomo di Napoli
Visit of Duomo di San Gennaro (Naples' Cathedral) to admire the famous Treasure of San Gennaro and the Beauty of Santa Restituta's Church, one of the first Early Christian church (4th century AD).
2. Castel Nuovo - Maschio Angioino
Continuation to the city center and have a great panoramic ride near the Castel Nuovo (also known as Maschio Angioino Castle). The construction of its ancient core - today partially re-emerged following restoration and archaeological exploration - is due to the initiative of Charles I of Anjou, who in 1266, defeated the Swabians, ascended the throne of Sicily and established the transfer of the capital from Palermo to the Neapolitan city.
3. Posillipo
Arrival at the Posillipo's Hill and have a stop to admire the majesty of the Gulf of Naples from the top! With the Mount Vesuvius embraces the mediterranean sea. Take your time to take wonderful panoramic photos and a nice selfie.
4. Chiesa di Sant'Antonio a Posillipo
The foundation of the church dates back to 1642 and took place on a site that was scarcely urbanized at the time, consisting of four rural villages connected to the Mergellina area by an ancient Greco-Roman road. The conventual friars of the third order founded a church and a small convent that had the function of sanatorium in the early years. On the foundation stone of he read: «FRATER PAVLVS ANSELONVS FR 3 ORDINIS S.TI FRANCISCI FVUNDATOR OB MAGNAM DEVOTIONEM FAIRS FECIT YEAR DOMAINS MDCXXXXII» The walls of the ancient chapel can be identified today in correspondence with the current sacristy, just as the premises of the original convent can be found in the rooms called "ex-monastery".
5. Lungomare Caracciolo
Have a great panoramic ride along one of the most beautiful Seaview of the world! Marinas, local restaurants, trendy clubs, luxury hotels and the majestic Castel dell'Ovo (with means Castle of the egg) which surmounts what was once a small fishing village and today the center of nightlife, the Borgo Marinari.
6. Castel dell'Ovo
The Castel dell'Ovo is the oldest castle in the city of Naples and is one of the elements that stand out most in the famous panorama of the gulf. An ancient legend says that its name derives from the Latin poet Virgil that hidden in the dungeons of the building a magic egg that had the power to keep the entire fortress standing. Its rupture would have caused not only the collapse of the castle, but also a series of disastrous catastrophes in the city of Naples.
7. Piazza del Plebiscito
Arrival again in the city centre, you'll admire Piazza Del Plebiscito, the most important square of the city and one of the largest in Europe. Here you can enjoy a splendid panorama of Santa Lucia and Via Parthenope (the end of the Caracciolo promenade) as well as being able to see 2 of the most impressive monuments of the city: - San Francesco di Paola's Cathedral - The Royal Palace
8. Teatro di San Carlo
The Teatro di San Carlo, known simply as Teatro San Carlo, is an opera house in Naples, as well as one of the most famous and prestigious in the world. It is among the oldest opera houses in Europe and the world still active, having been founded in 1737
9. Galleria Umberto I
The main entrance, which opens onto Via San Carlo, consists of an exedra façade, which at the bottom has an architraved portico, supported by travertine columns and two blind arches, one accessing the gallery, the another open on the ambulatory. Galleria Umberto I is a commercial gallery built in Naples between 1887 and 1890. The interior of the gallery consists of two streets that cross orthogonally, covered by an iron and glass structure. Some palaces delimit them, four of them with access from the central octagon.
10. Pompeii Archaeological Park
After the guided tour of Naples, it's time to leave for Pompeii and visit (always accompanied by your guide) the ancient Roman ruins of the town which was destroyed and buried by the lava of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Shops, streets, brothels, theaters and all that the history of this great people of conquerors has left us is still there, after over 2000 years.

We only had 2 hours in Pompeii. And the main areas were not on the agenda: Lupanare, domus' with amazing frescos and mosaics and the large arena. We decided to skip the Napoli tour and stay in Pompeii....great decision. We walked around at our leisure and hit everything we wanted to see. The tour description should be more precise.

Fabio wasn't very visable with name Viator on him but eventually we found him, good knowledge of pompeii, very informative & helpful with answering questions. At end of tour back at Naples we were all hot (temp was 29 degrees!!) & few of us didn't want to walk anymore. Found out bus wasn't going back to port so had to get off, wouldn't take us back even tho it was only a few streets away. Tour description said it ended back at port, didn't say more walking. I went back on my own as I was ill. Otherwise we enjoyed it very much.

The tour spent the 1st hour collecting other guests from all over the city so it didn’t kick off at the time we expected.

The actual guide and time at Pompeii was good, he was funny and engaging.
The bus on the way home did not have air con, despite this being mentioned on the tour. We also did not cover any of Naples, only Pompeii.

Wouldn’t recommend this tour as a whole.

The tour was good and the guide was great! She was very knowledgeable and She kept you interested! It is very hot at pompeii and a lot to see!! You have a lot of uneven areas to walk along!

This was worth it. It took me a while to find the guy even though he had a sign with my name on it as stated; it was a little chaotic (not his fault). I really appreciated the tour of San Gennaro. It was very important to me, and this was the only tour I could find that offered it.

I was worried about the short length of being at Pompeii, but honestly after an hour and a half in the heat, I was so ready to leave. It was plenty of time, though technically it isn't "enough" time to see the whole thing, it was great.

It was a bit chaotic as we got passed from one small group for San Gennaro into the larger group for the ride back to the port, but the people really did know what they were doing and were incredibly organized even though they didn't really communicate that organization to the people.

Compared to our other experiences in Italy, I would recommend this tour.
