Fiji's original Off Road adventure transports you deep into the Fijian interior aboard our custom built Off Road vehicles. The adventure is brought to life by your guides who will share the incredible history of the region and of course introduce you to the Fijian culture and way of life.

By "Taking the Road Less Travelled" you will be able to see first hand historical & geological sites that still remain as they were from centuries ago.

The Off Road Cave Safari is a half day adventure (4.5hours) which culminates in an amazing visit to the most beautiful cave system in Fiji, the Naihehe Cave.

As part of this experience, we also seek the Bete (priests) permission before we enter the cave system.

Your guides will give you great insight into the Caves and the role they played during the Fijian warfare days and the significance of the region in the Last War of Fiji.

From hotel pick up and drop off, we couldn’t fault the team. Very informative and knowledgeable explaining what things were as we drove through the different towns and villages.

Great to hear the history of the cave and what it once was. Very little walking involved however you do have to crouch down quite low to enter the cave.

We had the most wonderful time. Zach who was our driver was superb. We had an incredible experience with the cava ceremony and I’ll always remember it. Then the caving was amazing. Saddam our guide was excellent and gave us all the history and insights, truly a memorable day. Can’t recommend it highly enough. If you come to the coral coast you should definitely do the cave safari!

This tour was the most authentic thing we did in Figi. The cave was interesting, the food was some of the best food we had on the whole trip and Una was a lovely guide. Honestly, one of the best parts was driving through the villages on the way to the cave. I was moved to learn most of the homes there do not have running water inside - only to an outdoor shower, which is where the women do laundry. By far, the friendliest people in the world are in Figi. As we passed the houses (most of which only have an opening for windows - no glass) People smiled and called out "Bula!!" (Traditional greeting) and the kids would run up for a high 5 as we passed by. Some of the other guests brought small toys for the children. I wish I had thought to do that. We did Kava ceremonies at other places, but this one felt real, not touristy.

We were lucky to have a one-on-one staff ratio, first through the boat to the off-road vehicle, all throughout the path and scenic views overlooking the Sigatoka River, the "bread basket of Fiji", down the Naihehe Cave, featuring the 'pregnancy gap' and secret lair. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish, providing us the untold stories of Fiji related to the cave and its people and making sure we successfully gained safe passage from the priest with the kava ceremony and then ending the journey with enjoying a beautiful Fijian BBQ with an abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables and "Fijian burgers": breadfruit, beef and all the condiments to spare. The weather was great, the day was phenomenal, and I'd recommend it to anyone who is close to the area.

Worth it, Book it, Go do it!... A lovely experience that is well managed and allows you to get up close to a hidden treasure and culturally significant site... Our Guide Saddam was both entertaining & knowledgable, he gave such a rich history to the Cave and the people who use it. Our Driver Moses was lovely and cooked our substantial lunch. The Chief cava welcome was a real Bonus, thank you guys Bula Vinaka!

Very enjoyable tour with the family. We got a peek into Fijian history and culture plus some stunning views of the countryside.

We set out early from our hotel collecting other tourists along the way. Had a quick stop for a toilet break in a shop selling some lovely Fijian souvenirs and the women were given sarongs to be respectful in the kava ceremony we’d be attending later. We then hopped back on to our bus to head to the official starting point of the different tours (splitting into our Naihehe Cave tour and the jet boat tours).

We boarded a little barge thing to cross the river (lifejackets provided) then climbed aboard a small convoy of safari cars to zip along the windy roads through the tropical forest around us. Tour guide Tia and driver Sponge Bob were fantastic, manoeuvring the paths and by other vehicles!

We passed through a traditional Fijian village and heard about daily life for the people of the area. Tia was knowledgeable about the region and was happy to answer any questions we had.

We presented a kava root to a Fijian priest then enjoyed a kava ceremony before going into the Naihehe Cave. Word of warning - wear shoes you are prepared to get wet! The entrance to the cave involves walking through knee-high water under the 'pregnancy gap' before you reach the large, cavernous cave!

The tour of the cave has some physical requirements so I would recommend a reasonable level of fitness and sure-footedness – there’s only one hand rail up a small incline, there are some moments of crouching under the rocky entrance, etc. Nothing too challenging and there was an age range of children to a couple in their 70s on the tour but be mindful.

Inside the cave we learnt more about the history and culture of the local people.

Afterwards, the BBQ lunch provided was simple but plentiful, fresh and delicious and more opportunity to chat.

We had a great time on this tour and was one of the highlights of our trip to Fiji. Can recommend 100%

Also spotted a mongoose on the way back, which a thrill in itself!
