I had such a great time on this adventure with the crew: Miguel and Noah. The raft ride super comfortable despite the rough waters and our captain played some great tunes. We saw some spinner dolphins and at least one sea turtle along the way. There were a few water falls and caves that we explored as well. I feel like I checked off everything on my bucket list for this location in one trip. We also had some time to snorkel in the gorgeous blue waters of Na Pali. I got a little seasick because I forgot to bring some meds, but the crew was prepared for that. The company provides plenty of snacks and drinks along the way. Overall, a very chill vibe. I would do this trip again because this coastline is simply heavenly. Postcards don't do this place justice.

Saw dolphins, went snorkeling, and saw Napali coast with perfect lighting on afternoon trip. Captain Miguel and Noah were very funny and attentive to passenger needs and safety. So much fun going under waterfall and in caves. A must do for Kauai—sat at the front of the raft and was super fun! Highly recommend this trip and this company! :-)

Captain J’s Zodiac tour was fantastic our captain Miguel, expertly handled this boat into a waterfall and a cave. With the beautiful scenery of the
Na Pali coast around you. Then the snorkeling begins with a possible sighting of a sea turtle and bottle nosed dolphins. Ending with a figure eight close to the marina to finish thing off.

Our raft adventure was wonderful! We had done a helicopter tour of the NaPali coast the day before so it was fascinating to see the same areas from a different perspective. My cousin uses canes/wheelchair and they were very helpful in helping her get safely onboard to enjoy her trip. The Captain took us to places where we had close views of Hawaiian spinner dolphins on our way to the NaPali coast. The coastline is spectacular and they gave us plenty of opportunity to marvel at its beauty and to point out different areas of interest. Afterward, they found a great place to snorkel and we were thrilled to spot a sea turtle. The crew (Cannon), took my gopro and swam down to the the bottom to film a wonderful video of one swimming by. It was a wonderful adventure and we highly recommend this excursion and crew! I would love to share the awesome turtle video with Captain Js if you can contact me with a way to share it with you!

Picked this raft tour mainly because there were actual seats on the boat and it was advertised as adventureous. We sailed past other boats and pitied them having to sit on the the side of the raft and hold on for dear life... (our group was early 30's btw). We still had plenty of adventure, and enjoyed our "Hawaiian rollercoaster ride". It does get bumpy out there! We sat in the front of the boat to get the most thrill and wouldn't have changed a thing.
We had a fantastic time with our crew, A & N 🥰 they were very friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend taking the Early tour at 730 since the water can be choppy later in the day. I do wish we could have used our own full face snorkel masks, but it is against their policy. The snorkeling isn't that great, they throw food in the water to attract fish, but honestly ALL the tour boats stopped in the same place, so you'd get the same experience no matter where you book. We were lucky enough to spot several spinner dolphins and the crew took their time on the way there and back to make sure we got all the pics and videos our hearts desired. All in all, I'd say it is a must to see the napali coast and I'd book this trip with Capt J's again and again.

So much fun. This was the perfect hybrid for our group (2 adults, 15 year old, 12 year old)—more adventure than the big boat sunset cruises, but a little more comfortable than the SEAL-style rafts where you sit on the sides of the raft. The views are amazing—the coast is incredibly beautiful, and we sailed under waterfalls, went into caves, and saw dolphins. We did get wet (they provide small dry bags for cameras, phones, etc.) so bring a towel or two. Our guide, Kanon, gave us a mix of history and jokes and also took family/group photos with the Na Pali coast in the background. Holiday card ✔️ The conditions weren't great for snorkeling the day we went out, so we sailed further before turning around and then stopped so anyone who wanted to could jump off the boat into to ocean. They had basic snacks and drinks but this isn't a food/drink-focused trip, just FYI. No complaints; we weren't there for food. We wanted to see the coast, to feel like we were out on the ocean, and experience some caves—and we did. Would recommend.

A magical experience!! My wife and I are so glad we booked this tour. The weather was perfect, and I got so many positive things to say. The captain and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The boat ride was very fast (and bumpy on our way back due to the waves), which we were fine with. We saw A LOT of dolphins, turtles, and got very lucky and saw a whale. The beauty of the Na Pali Coast was definitely the highlight and they do take photos of each party, which was great. There is also snorkeling, which is a bonus. I HIGHLY recommend Captain J's!
