Nearly wrecking the bus because our Thor wanna be driver was too busy chatting with the pink haired tour guide...
A tour guide lecturing us on how bad America and the world are and how great Iceland is. Also, the driver wore loose shorts and tank top. Vert u
nprofessional.

Fly lake is disgusting and no warning to bring a net for your head. Also, no mention to bring your own towel. Otherwise you'll have to rent one.

The lunch is a sandwich from 7/11 and fake juice.

Hot baths, talking with the guide and bus driver as we drove along. The guide and bus driver were very knowledgeable about the geology of the area and took us to beautiful vistas

Viky and Alpert were amazing. Great experience at the Myvatn Nature Baths (except for the smell of sulphur). I highly recommend this trip. Great for family.

My husband was going to skip the thermal bath, Shy, l guess! after seeing the Waterfall, he went along and love the HOTTEST AREA OF THE BATH, he said it helped his shoulder pain and ease LBP. WOULD have loved to see the Lava area like program described ( Calif couple )

I really enjoyed this trip. I have seen Godalfoss before but it was good to see it again, especially as it was such a sunny day. The pseudo craters at Lake Myvatn were very interesting to see and the nature baths were very enjoyable. Vicky was a great guide. She was very amusing and informative, and a she made a good trip even better.

Great tour with lots of viewpoint stops and great commentary. Unfortunately, we did not end on time so no Christmas store stop in Akureyri before needing to return to ship but definitely a great day. Quite a bit of Iceland reminds me of the beautiful Washington State without trees, lol. It even has the Eastern Washington look of no green grass as we visited the sulfur springs I guess they are called. Went to Hell and then to Lake Mývatn. No pictures there because I knew I wouldn't stay in long due to the sulfur smell of it. There are showers with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Bring your towel and swimsuit. Pools are warm, not hot. The Icelandic cream is amazing. Had a wonderfully full day.

Overall the tour was good. There was a few issues I wasn't too happy about but overall worked out.
For this tour there were two busses. They booked 2 different itinerary's for this tour. People that included entry to the baths and those who didn't who do something different. They didn't put all the people who booked the baths on the same bus. So we had to make a stop and let all those who didn't book the baths to get off and go on their way and then get everyone who booked the baths on the same bus to go get dropped off. They dropped us off at the baths and then left us there. Would have been nice to know this as booking this tour I thought it the tour guide would be present the whole time. They also forgot to give us our lunch when dropping us off at the baths. They gave us the lunch when they came back to pick us up which was at 4pm. By then we were already hungry and ate at the baths before they came back to get us.
The stops and the tour overall was good. However it felt dysfunctional and not well planned for two types of groups who booked different stops. This should be noted and explained on the tour page so people are aware.

We liked the Myvatn Nature Baths even better than Blue Lagoon. We visited the Baths, Godafoss, and other spots off of our cruise ship in Akureryi. The company was able to adjust so we could get back to our ship in time to meet an adjusted schedule. Thank goodness for the seven kilometer tunnel that allowed us to do all the visiting in the six hours we had available to us.

Our day started with a visit to Godafoss, a spectacular waterfall. Smaller in height than Gollfoss, it was still really cool, with several overlooks.

Next we visited a National park, where we viewed the divide between the two continental plates. We walked through a crevice that was used for cars, viewed the location of the parliment for centuries, and saw the Drowning Pool where female adulterers were executed. There was a nice little waterfall.

We then visited Myvatn Nature Baths. They were perfect. The temperature was great for standing around and talking. We had a sunny and warm day, but even if it was cold and raining, it still would have been nice.

Our tour guide, Runar, was informative and entertaining. He gave us a ton of history, including personal history, that helped us understand Iceland.

I highly recommend this tour.
