Meet you local guide in Venice city center, then board a private boat and admire the lagoon of Venice. Stop in Murano island to see S. Maria and Donato Cathedral followed by an old glass factory visit. Afterwards stop in Burano island and explore the lace island

Glass demonstration was interesting but short. Too much time on a pretty slow boat. Most of the time on the islands was spent shopping.

Glass making tour is the best part. Burano looks gorgeous with new paint on the front of the houses. We didn't see Murano, inly glass show rooms. A lot of greedy people are in both places.

Murano glass was wonderful. Burano was rather disappointing. The lace demonstration was lacking, as a matter of fact we didn’t see any lace demonstration.
The guide wasn’t very good with his directions either

Tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide was so nice and gave great recommendations for what to do in the city as well. Glass blowing tour was a must. Burano and murano are a must see for anyone staying in Venice!

These are beautiful little islands that hold the uniqueness of Venice but with fewer crowds.
Our guide "Gabriele" gave us the history of Murano and Burano enroute to both islands. Murano is known for it's beautiful glass pieces and we were fortunate to see an actual piece being made. On to Burano where the art of lace making, sadly, is slowly fading away.
There was a little free time in each island to explore, shop and take it all in.
A definite must when visiting Venice.

I enjoyed the skill of the glass blowers and colorful home on Burano. The lace shop did not give much history of lace making and how it benefited the community

Glass factory was interesting, but did not get to see any other part of Murano. Boat docked in front of the glass factory. The Burano lace making talk was short enough to leave time toejoy some free time to explore and enjoy the Esse cookies and Gelato. Burano was adorable!

Watching and learning all about glass blowing was a great experience. Such beautiful and delicate items.

Loved waking around the colorful island of Burano! Not even the rain dimmed the beauty. We even stopped into the church and got to witness a wedding!

A nice experience to enjoy with family/friends. Both the islands are beautiful, the guide is very knowledgeable and hospitable. The glass factory has some remarkable pieces for you to see and buy (though Murano glass is pretty expensive).
