The beer tasting and tour at the Beer & Oktoberfest Museum was rushed. We missed so much in the museum. It would be better to buy an entrance ticket and see the interesting exhibits on your own time. The dinner afterwards was a basic, like your grandma would cook for Sunday dinner. I think most of us were uncomfortable sharing food from the same platter with strangers. Also, there was no music in the beer hall. We walked past other beer halls with brass bands. There was nothing special about the evening.

Our tour guide made all the difference in how our experience unfolded. He walked us around the grounds, explained customs and pointed out "not-to-miss features" then he escorted us to our reserved tables. Our tour group became our new friends and we sang, ate and drank for five hours in Hofbrau tent before taking on the carnival rides, Devil's Wheel and awesome people watching!

We had the best time! The tour allowed us to get a feel for the grounds before it was busy while also getting some history and tips from our awesome tour guide Sam. The table reservation was worth the whole tour and we made friends along the way. I would absolutely do this again and recommend to family and friends!

This was our first Oktoberfest, and my husband and I could not have had a better experience. Our tour guide Daniel, was able to answer any questions, gave honest recommendations, and made us feel at home. Not to mention, he makes sure everyone is enjoying the party!

Very interesting history lesson from Werner. He seems to know Oktoberfest inside and out from a personal viewpoint. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
