Overall the tour was fantastic. However, the bus we had experienced mechanical issues at the start of the trip. Leaving us with a 30 min wait for a new bus and a reduced time at Mt Wllington/MONA. I understand that this is most likely a one-off experience and applaud the staff for their professionalism in providing a new bus in a timely fashion. I was also offered another trip the very next day, though, due leaving I was unable to grasp this opportunity.

Guide was very good and she drove very safe to the top of the mountain and it is Avery good trip. MONA was interesting and a feast to art lovers

Both Mt Wellington and MONA are a must in Hobart.
The tour was well organized and the driver/guide Damon was of excellent.

I had Mark for the second time in three days as my guide. Going from a coach to a minibus yet he still remembered me which was delightful.
Pickup was a bit late due to bridge issues completely beyond everyone’s control. Didn’t matter in the end though, everything was on time.
The weather in the morning wasn’t super great so we did a reverse tour where we got a city tour before heading up the mountain as the clouds cleared. Mark was full of knowledge about the area and the mountain. The views are stunning even if you can’t avoid all the clouds, Mother Nature will dictate what you can see.
The tickets for the MONA are for standard seating. You get there via ferry ride and you can change the departure time if you want to either earlier or later depending on how long you want to stay.

Great tour up to mount wellington and back. The weather was kind to us and we got some great photos from the top. Our guide was excellent. The visit to Mona was interesting though I would recommend that you download the app ahead of time and make advance reservations for some of the activities..

Good combination trip to be able to see some lovely views around Hobart and then Mona. We were lucky to have snow on Mt Wellington as well as an added bonus. The ferry over and back to Mona is great way to see more great views and then Mona itself was such a unique experience. The driver on the bus was fantastic. Very informative and friendly.
