The meeting point was terrible, hundreds of people from different tour groups at the same place and our guide didn't have a sign or marker or anything to help us find her. Very stressful.
The Pompeii tour was really informative and well done, tho I wish we could have spent more time there.
The time allowed to hike up to the top of Mt. Vesuvius was not nearly enough!!! I don't understand why the tour can't allow for an extra 1/2 hour of hiking time so we can enjoy the view at the top and just return a bit later to Naples.

During this day trip I insured my knee, one of the tour guides helped us calling an ambulance and helped me and my family to het spots to ride back in town with one of their tour busses. This was much appreciated.
Until then the tour didn't feel like the experience we hoped and payed for. It felt more like a logistical operation: Pocking up people from all around town, dropping them, redistributing them. The guides never cared to bond. During the bus rides the guides and drivers loudly kept chatting with eachother, making this their fun ride / excursion rather than caring about the passengers or creating a good vibes among the group.

Trip was well organised. Pompeii was really good and our guide was excellent, if a bit quietly spoken. Vesuvius too was great to see. The problem I would say is that a bit more time is needed in each place, maybe 30-40 mins more. It felt a bit rushed to be honest. Lunch was basic - margarita pizza or gnocchi pasta or salad and a soft drink - everyone huddled in a cheap cafe area. This could’ve been a better. Overall a good trip though but it would have been better to get back at 7pm rather than 6pm and had the extra time in each place - just saying!

There were some pros and cons of the tour.
Pros: we did everything listed in the description and generally on time (though some other guests made us slightly late twice). Lunch was pretty good and a lot of food - we each got a fresh 12 inch margherita pizza at a sit down restaurant. Tour guides were friendly too.
Cons: there is very little guiding on this guided tour, and I felt that it lacked in depth and information.
We had one person with us to escort us on the bus and between places, and a tour guide at Pompeii (and tour guides aren’t allowed at Mt. Vesuvius which we already knew). We were a bit disappointed with the amount of information given and felt we could have learned a lot more on the tour. For example, it would have been nice to hear, while riding on the bus, the importance of the places we were visiting or important facts, history, etc.
The tour guide in Pompeii was pretty rushed and seemed to only point out things like, “and here’s the lead pipe” which felt like a missed opportunity to tell the story of the broader historical significance of the site. And while entertaining, a lot of the focus was on things relating to sex, which got old. I would have loved to learn more about Pompeii as a story rather than just pointing things out.
Our group was very large and half English half French, which also added to some of the confusion, and overall the tour felt very impersonal.
We also felt lost most of the day, not knowing where our escort was, for example after lunch. Though they did a good job making sure everyone was accounted for.

Pompei tour was very good. Antonio made sure we saw all important things and he kept his humor and high energy the whole time. Excellent!
Vesuvius was a nice experience too. I would recommend to give the group at least 30 min more time. For some people it is quite a chalange to reach the top of the Vesuvius in 25-30 min. We managed, but had not enough time at the top to enjoy and rest, because we had to go down to be on the bus on time. We came to Naples at 17.30, so there is no reason to hurry so much and be back at 18.00.

Well organized. Comfortable bus and guide who spoke many languages. Did not feel rushed. Meal was pretty good. Worth the trip. Pretty amazing

We started from Naples Central station and we first went to Vesuvius. Our guide told us that going up to Vesuvius was 25 minutes and going down was 15 minutes. We arrived at the national park around 11:20 and he told us to gather again at 12:20. Anyway, i think that they could have let us 20 minutes more to experience further the volcano. It felt a bit rushed to me. I was one of the first who went up and i was down around 12:15. After Vesuvius, we went to Pompei, before going in the city ruins, we had our lunch. We were waiting for 25 minutes for our pizza to arrive and in total the lunch was around 40 minutes. There was some unnecessary waiting. Pompei tour was around 2,5 hours which is not enough to cover the whole place (that we knew it since the beginning). Generally, it was an average experience.

This was a complete disappointment and waste of money.
- rubbish guide in Pompeii. He was rude, disorganised and didn't bother to tell us much while going round. Completely rushed and so much missed.
- lunch location is pretty bleak. Food was okay but we saw some other food that looked dismal (don't choose a salad!).
- Far too long for lunch which was completely wasted time.
- weather was terrible but despite this they drove us to the hike entrance and sat at the closed entrance for 40mins. Obviously to reduce what they had to refund and wasted a whole afternoon.
- driving conditions and driving very dangerous including driver using phone repeatedly with almost no visibility.
Let the company know via viator and neither the company nor viator have been particularly helpful despite photos to back up the complaints. Don't waste your money on this excursion you would be far better booking transport yourself.

Very informative and convenient with the bus. Our tour guide knew all of the intricate details regarding Pompeii. Lunch was also very good.

Request for a refund for the trip to Vesuvius.
The trip couldn't go ahead because the entrance to Vesuvius was closed. We waited at the entrance for over an hour.
Cruised up for nothing.
It could have been clarified in advance if we knew the weather wasn't good. Then we could have saved ourselves the lost time.
