Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi Day Trip with English Speaking Driver

We had a perfect day out on our tour with our guide Haroon. He ensured we made the most of our day, making sure all 10 of us had the best day. He went the extra mile driving some of our group to Fuji Q park whilst others took a private boat trip on the lake all seamlessly arranged by our guide. Our day started at 715 to miss the traffic out of Tokyo (recommended by our guide) - a great tip to ensure we made the most of the day!

Umar was a very organized and efficient tour guide. He has the Mt. Fuji tour down to a science. He knows exactly where you need to go to get the best Mt. Fuji views. He recommended great food along the way. He was kind and pleasant to spend the day with. Thank you, Umar!

Nihon Horizon Tour provides excellent communication, quick to respond to any questions, and the flexibility that we need for our trip. We were able to select the sites we wanted to see and skip the sites that would involve a lot of walking. The car was very neat and clean. We had a great trip to Mt Fuji area with our driver and guide, Umar, who is a safe driver and provided information on all the sites we were visiting and even took pictures for us! We were picked up at the airport and headed to Hakone Sight seeing cruise and did the pirate ship from Motohakone-ko to Togendai Station and then took the ropeway from Togendai Station to Sounzan Station. Communication with Umar was also excellent, who provided clear directions for pick up at the airport and Sounzan station. We then went to Oshino Hakkai, and then went to Oishi Park at Lake Kawaguchi, enjoyed the view and ice cream. We covered a lot of places in a slight day, enjoying beautiful views of Mt Fuji. We had such a wonderful time! Thank you!

We had the pleasure of experiencing Tokyo's beauty with Ajmal as our driver, and it was truly an outstanding journey. Ajmal did an excellent job taking us to various spots to capture breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. His kindness and helpfulness were remarkable throughout the trip. Our driver was an excellent guide. Picked us up at our hotel at 8:30 and drove to the 5th station of Mount Fuji. We took oir time andrhe whole tour was paced as we wanted. The we visited Lake Kawaguchi, had lunch at an awesome ramen place nearby and headed to Pagoda shrine. We got back to the hotel at 4:30pm. A perfect day. Thanks a lot Murad. Higly recommend the tour.

Earlier in December 2023 (around the 10th or so), I took a day trip to Mount Fuji with my mother and brother, guided by Abdul. We could not recommend Abdul and this tour enough.

Abdul was very considerate and knowledgeable, and highly accommodating of our preferences for what we wanted to see and do. His recommendations for activities and food to try at each location helped us make the most of our time together, so that we could do as much as we wanted without feeling rushed. It was also a pleasure to hear his stories about life in Japan as we travelled and talked. Abdul truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the journey and made this a very special day for our family.

Thank you so much once again for the incredible tour — couldn’t have found a better way to end our time in Japan.

Where do we begin? We chose Jamil for a critical mission, to take us around Mount Fuji, where I ultimately proposed to my girlfriend (now fiancé, she said yes!).

He was an exceptional guide who knew the mountain inside and out. Every spot you want to see, Jamil knows about it, where to get the best photos, and all the fun facts about the surrounding area. He also has fantastic insight into what to do at each location. High-speed boat ride around Lake Kawaguchi ✔️ delightful treats at Oshino Hakkai ✔️ incredible lookout spots ✔️.

Let’s not forget Jamil’s fantastic photography skills—every step of the way, he offered his service.

In summary, Jamil was everything you want in a private drive and more. On time, excellent communication, funny, kind, personable, and knowledgeable.

We cannot recommend this experience enough! We love you Jamil, thanks for making this the best experience of our lives! :)

We went on a day tour of Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji with Jamil. Jamil was very friendly and shared a lot of information about the area as well as Japan in general. He was very flexible and tailored the day according to our desire. We even arranged to get dropped off in Hakone instead of back in Tokyo. Jamil and Ezar from Nihon Horizon Tour were happy to accommodate. The day turned out to be a wonderful experience capped by splendid views of Mt. Fuji!
