With air conditioned car we will pick you up from your hotel in Bali. You will transported to toya bungkah starting point. It is best and less crowds of travellers to trek up from this based camp. Our professional trekking guide will guided you during your 2 hours trek to the top off Mount Batur. Once you get the peak, your personal guide will take you to best spot where you will be have great space without hundreds of people around you.
You will see the hillocks jets of white steam puffing out from the holes. Before the sun rising, enjoy a glass of hot tea or coffe, also hard-boild eggs and bananas cooked by volcanic steam, on the way back your guide will bring you to walk along side on the crater rim. At 08:30am Your Mount Batur trekking adventure is finish, we will drive you back to the hotel.

My wife and I started my 60th. birthday by being picked up at our hotel in Sanur. 1½ hour later, we were at "basecamp" where we met Mate, and we got equipped with headlamps, and the trip up the volcano started. Mate was good at addjusting the pace and make sure even the old man could cope with the challenge. At the top we saw the sunrise, but actually most interesting, was the visit inside the crater of the volcano, where hot steam erupts from the underground. I would have liked to upload a video of the hot steam, but can apparently only upload pictures. Afterwards we were driven to Hotsprings nearby, which was so pleasent, and then we got an almost "zen-like" massage. Can give it all my warmest recommandations.

I highly recommend this tour for everyone!
We had a great experience from beginning to ending. Both our driver and tour guide were so nice and friendly!
We enjoyed every single minute, and the sunrise at the top of the mountain is just breathtaking!

There was an amazing view at the top! The hike was fairly easy and defiantly worth it for what’s at the top. Our guide Ayu was absolutely amazing and guided us up the mountain and provided us with food at the top. This is a must do when in Bali.

Mountain was a nice challenge and absolutely worth the early rise. Our driver Mawe was on time and delightful to talk with during the trip. We found him very helpful and catered for our every request making us feel at ease right from the get go.
We had Made Winarti as our trekking guide and she was an absolute gem. So attentive and kind. We enjoyed every moment with Made up the mountain.
No regrets here !!

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The pick-up and organisation was excellent and very easy. The mount batur trek is something you must do, the views are incredible and our guide was lovely. We finished with relaxing at the hot springs and then trying local Bali coffee/teas at the coffee plantation. Overall an amazing experience and couldn’t recommend it enough especially for the price.

1. This is a tough hike. Don't let anyone fool you. 2. The views of the sun rise make it well worth it. Its a once in a lifetime experience you don't want to miss.
What also made this experience great was out driver, Komang, and tour guide, Made.
My husband and I had the best time with Komang and Made. Komang was a great driver, we always felt safe and he had great conversation. On our way back from the hike & hot springs, Komang also stopped at the coffee plantation where we were able to try some Balinese coffee and pick up some gifts for family.
The hike was challenging but Made was super helpful. We couldn't have done it without her. She provided us with head lights & walking sticks and once we made it to the top of the mountain, she made us a nice breakfast. Made was very helpful, especially when we got to some tough parts of the hike (there's a lot, haha).
Definitely ask for Komang and Made if you want to take this tour. They'll take care of you!

A highly recommended activity in Bali if you enjoy the outdoors. Sunrise was beautiful and the view was amazing. Weather was good too. My driver Nyoman was punctual and friendly. My guide Tangi was wonderful. She was supportive, fun and made it look like a cake walk. Running down parts of Mt Batur is definitely something to try. We completed within an hour and a half and once up there, you take in both the view, your fellow hikers and a light breakfast.
It can be slightly challenging. The difficult part for me was the ground which is gravel and ash. It shifts around and gets kicked up with every step. Do bring a buff to cover your nose and mouth for comfort. You won't see it as you ascend due to the darkness but you definitely will feel it in your throat. A walking stick makes it much easier.
All in all, give it a go, even if hiking is not quite your thing.

Our tour guide, Nyoman, led us to the top of Mt. Batur excellently with so much care for each of us. She offered plenty of opportunities to stop and drink water, as well as preparing us breakfast at the top whilst we took in the view.

Very Nice place , waching the sunrise, the hot springs, having a message and deserve the adventure out proplem was driving with a sleepy driver in the night was really scary
