The overall experience was nice.
Pick up at 3am from Ubud by driver.
Then arrive base of mountain at a resting spot for coffee where we wait for our jeep driver at around 5am.
Then we went uphill by jeep. The ride was really bumpy but it was an interesting experience.
We waited for the sunset while our guide helped us to take pictures. We did not climb as high as I expected because there were a lot of Jeeps in front of us. But the view was still great.
Arrive hotspring with the jeep around 8:30am and you can spend around 1-2hrs there.
We were in a rush so we skipped the coffee plantation and lunch suggested by the driver.
Our driver was nice to help us keep our luggage in his car and dropped it off when we finished the tour as we had to move to another villa that day. He also drove us back to city centre for free afterwards. Arrived ubud city centre around 11:30am.

Tequila was incredible! He ensured the experience was completely to our 100% satisfaction and that we stayed happy. Good human to tour Bali with! He worked with our times and preferences and even took so many amazing captures of us as we journey’d through. If you have the option to pick def request him. Today felt like a home away from home vibe.

Good communication with the agency, everything was well organized. With a special mention for EDY ARI who came to pick us up at the other end of the island, he was one of the best drivers we had on Bali! Super nice and really cool and he drives like a pro.
For the Mount Batur excursion with the Jeep, the driver we had was really very, very nice and once we arrived at the Sunrise location there were so many jeeps, so he took us on foot to a really high point. very well placed. Then the tour on the lava flows was very beautiful.
We just didn't appreciate the hot water springs, which are also very touristy, which is perhaps not really our thing.

The tour was excellent and exceeded our expectations! The tour guide Ariga and his friend the driver were very nice and explained everything. The jeep driver Leon was very kind and took very good photos of us with breathtaking views. The tour started with a stop with free tea/coffee + some cookies and a bottle of water. After that, we went to Mount Batur and black lava with the jeep. It was very nice to go in the mid morning because it's not so crowded and we didn't need to wake up so early. Other tours usually go at sunrise time that it's very crowded (more than 200 jeeps in a small space), while going later has a lot of advantages and the view is good as well. The jeep is open on the top, so it's good for taking nice photos and get fresh air. Then, we went to the Batur hot springs, where they offered a free welcome drink and free use of towels. The facility has lockers to keep your stuff secure, shower with soap and shampoo, and changing room. Then we went for lunch in a nice restaurant with beautiful view. We were lucky with the weather because it started raining right before lunch. In the lunch included in the tour it's possible to choose a main course and a drink, and they serve also a small fruit plate. At the end, we also visited a coffee plantation with a guide explaining the types of coffee plants and other spices that grow there. The visit also included a free taste of coffees and teas. All in all, we really enjoyed the day and we strongly recommend this tour.

Everything about the tour was well planned. We were picked up from our hotel by the friendly driver Depa and driven to the starting point of the hike. Here we were given tea/coffee, headtorch, walking sticks etc and could use the toilet.
The climb was challenging however we all felt safe under the guidance of the guide. She was also very good at keeping everyone motivated. When we reached the top we were served breakfast (eggs, banana sandwich and cereal bars) and the guides took many pictures and videos for us! On the way home we stopped at a coffee plantation where they gave us a quick tour and then we were served different flavoured teas and coffees. This was unexpected but still nice.

The whole team was very professional and good. Our driver Agus was on time to pick us up and very courteous. His car was clean and tidy. And our guide was extraordinary- he was very friendly and helpful, especially as I was struggling with the hike. And the experience of watching the sunrise was postcard worthy!
