Itinerary:
-01.30-03.00am: Pick up time depending your accommodation in Bali
-03.45am: Arrival at starting point, introduction and safety procedure briefing by our experience professional hiking guide
-04.09am: our guide will take you on a one and a half hour trek to reach the top or summit to see sunrise
-06.00am: coffee or tea will served by our guide and see super spectacular sunrise.
-07.00am: From the summit, You can decide direct to car park OR our guide will lead you around the rim and explore to second crater (erupted in 1926), the third (erupted in 1963), and youngest crater (erupted in 1974 and 1994).
-09.00am: You will arrive at the bottom
-09.20am: Breakfast at restaurant with overlooking lake and mount batur
-11.00am -01.00 pm: estimated Return to hotel

The trip up the mountain when smoother than we could hope for! Puta who was our driver picked us up outside our hotel and took us the the starting point. We were then greeted by our lovely tour guide who provided us with water and information on the mountain. We also were given food and tea at the top. Highly recommend to anyone who comes to Bali!

Jro (guide) & Putu Pande (driver) were great! Both good English speakers and very welcoming! Jro knew exactly what pace to walk with me, told me about the mountain and was a fantastic photographer! There are 2 specific rest points, but Jro kept checking I was ok and could stop whenever. He knows his stuff and the walk was really easy with him there! Made me feel very comfortable as a female solo traveller.
Picked up and dropped off at my hotel, the whole process was seamless.
This is quite expensive to do solo, I paid about £80; but I am so so glad I did it! It is 100% worth the money! If you are in Bali and after a beautiful sunrise and medium trek do not miss out on this! So glad I got this experience whilst im here! Thank you Jro for being such a pleasant guide!

Our tour guide, Jero Lanang made this experience so special. We got picked up by our lovely driver, Arya at 1:30 and began our private trek around 3:15am. When we reached the top at 5:15 Jero organised us the perfect spot and got us 2 delicious Bali coffees. He was full of knowledge about Bali and he made sure to get the perfect photos without even having to ask! Eggs were delicious and we had so much time to look at the views. We then went down and got taken to a beautiful restaurant for breakfast. Highly recommended this trip with this company, they made it amazing. From Tori and Scott x

It's been more than a week since our sunrise hike and I am still riding the high!
Our group of 7 were picked up from the hotel at 2:30 am. At 4 am, we met our guides Wayan and Made near the base of the volcano. We started the hike with people from other tour companies, but soon split into our own group as we made the ascent. Wayan led while Made stayed at the back to make sure we stayed together. They were great communicators and it was enjoyable talking to them. Once we got to the top, we were given hot beverages and eggs cooked from volcanic steam. Wayan was also a fantastic photographer, ensuring we got great videos and shots, both of and with the sunrise. We then hiked along the rim of the volcano, and proceeded on a somewhat challenging descent, as the terrain was rocky and sandy. This was where the walking sticks we were given really came in handy! Wayan and Made scouted the best paths down, sometimes running ahead and then back to lead us, and lending us a hand when we needed help. Along the way we had plenty more photo opportunities. The hike was memorable - taking in amazing sights and experiencing it with good friends, while being led by energetic, professional, and fun guides. At the end we were driven to a nice restaurant with a beautiful view. I highly recommend this tour, and I hope you will be lucky and get Wayan and Made as your guides!

We were picked up from our hotel in a private car with a polite driver and Wayan (our tour guide) was waiting for us when we arrived. He was the best tour guide we could have asked for, he was knowledgeable and took the most amazing photos.
We had the best experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend to anyone!

The trek was definitely worth it. Our guide JRO did a fantastic job of helping us and sharing information about Mount Batur. He took us around the crater for a complete Batur experience. I would highly recommend JRO.

Great experience all around. Amazing views and some great photos from our friendly guide Wayan. We had comfortable transport from the city and return, driven by Putu who also took us to the thermal pools and a very good cafe breakfast overlooking the volcano.

our guide putu picked us up punctually and provided us a smooth journey from seminyak to kintamani and back. he was also happy to chat about the local areas. the company is able to make adjustments to the tour itinerary if you share your plans for later in the day with them. our guide Made took care of us very well during the hike. overall, it was a brilliant experience!
