A Small group hiking tour to the summit of Mount Batur , anyone with even a moderate level of fitness will thoroughly enjoy hike to the top of Mount Batur. Though you may have to bundle up and wake up at the same time you would normally be going to sleep, the spectacular sunrise view waiting for you at the top makes it well worth it. Our guide was fantastic, he picked one of the better less occupied spaces to watch the sunset. Really knowledgeable guy with a love for football which kept me and my husband chatting for ages. A difficult hike for a beginner but still really enjoyable.

My favorite thing we did on our trip to Ubud, by far. The views are absolutely stunning. It is an early wake up but totally worth it when the sun comes up and you can see everything. Ketut was our guide and he was great. He helped us take tons of great pictures and made the hike fun. He was fun to talk to and knows the mountain very well having grown up hiking it as a child. It was nice to be able to do the hike at our own pace.

Very nice experience! even though the climb was difficult for me and our guide was not cooperative... notably refusing to equip us with poles. The sunrise was very discreet that day, we particularly enjoyed the hot spring after the descent.

A great experience, one of my highlights. The hike isn’t too challenging but the views at the top are beautiful.
My group hiked up with Ketut who I highly recommend. He was accommodating to all of us, checking on us and asking whether we needed a break. He made the effort to get to know all of us. And made us breakfast at the top to enjoy whilst watching the sunrise. A truly unforgettable experience.

Picked up on time, guide was excellent. The hike is not easy, almost continuously steep for 2 hours. Very nice views at the top, expect some clouds in your view if visiting in months outside of June to August. Not that cold up top, was fine with a sweater. Basic breakfast when at the summit

Had a great time trekking up Mt Batur the other day!! We were very lucky to have Ketut as our guide, who helped us find our way up the mountain while giving plenty of facts and bits of information about the trek (in very good English). We were provided with a hot drink and food at the top, which was a great reward for a couple of hours of walking. 10/10 would recommended even if the weather isn’t the best.
