Our group of 4 had an excellent time on this tour! We were picked up at our villa and were greeted by the nicest guide at the base of the mountain. We had a blast with the guide who took us through a less crowded trail, showed us steam from the volcano, and offered to show us even more places. Our guide also took a lot of photos for us! We had a spot reserved for us at the top with the best view, blankets, and coffee/breakfast. Highly recommend

We got picked up in Kuta by a super nice driver. From there we drove to the start point and got served coffe and got some headlights. The walk itself is moderate difficulty, because of how steep it is. Some parts also have a lot of loose stones so be careful. We got to the top after around 1,5 hour. There were sat down and was served breakfast and a hot drink. It is a bit cold when sitting there waiting for the sunrise after you’ve been sweating on the way up, so I would recommend bringing some extra clothes. The sunrise was absolutely amazing. We stayed up at the top for around 2 hours.
The way we went down was, as on the way up, pretty steep, and because of the loose small stones, or gravel, it gets slippery, so be aware of that. The walk down was around 1,5 hours as well.
When we got back down our driver was waiting for us. On the way back home he stopped at a coffee plantation which I would recommend. It is part of the package and free. We got a small tour of the place and we’re told about how they do it. We also got a free tasting of both the coffees they have and the teas. You can also for a small fee try the Kopi Luwak. After this you can buy some of the coffee if you want to. The driver was waiting for us when we got out and drove us home.
I would highly recommend this trip!

We had an amazing experience claiming Mt Batur. We had a great sunrise (sometimes it can be cloudy) however we had amazing views. Our tour guide Su was such a bonus. She was friendly, kind. Su told us many facts about the volcano and local village. She was great. It was an early wake up but worth it.

The whole trip was awesome from our amazing friendly driver Kertanadi who pick us up from our hotel in Kuta at 1:30 am and safely drove use to where we were to start our climb of Mt Batur then after we finished our climb he was waiting there ready to take us to the mineral pools which were amazing after the climb. Once we finished there he drove us all the way back to Kuta again in some really busy traffic and was very professional and safe. Our guide for climbing the mountain was named Chris and he also was brilliant he really went up and above to make our trip and really looked after us. My wife and I have know trouble at all recommending this company and the Mt Batur and mineral pool trip.

We had an amazing trip, the view up there was incredible. We got picked up on time by our driver Wi who got us there fast and safe and brought us back after we finished. Our Guide Adi was young but super hard working and kind, he got us up the volcano and showed us the best view and took some great photos for us. Can definetly recommend!

Yogi was a F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C guide! Yogi is a young, competent, conscientious, strong and positive hiker. We felt 💯 taken care of by her. We hiked with our almost two year old and she was just the best for our family. It made the hike an absolute breezeand was all so WILLING to help with whatever was needed even before we asked for it. We highlighted recommend asking for Yogi as your guide or her brother Agus as they are both great guides, safety conscious and proficient English language.

Awesome experience. A little luck is needed with the cloud cover and there’s a decent climb to the summit, but it’s well paced and most people should manage it. You will be rewarded at the top with an astounding sunrise and breathtaking views of the island. Shout out to our driver mk angga and our guide mk dados who took us on a special extended route back around the caldera for more spectacular views, away from the crowds and shaded from the sun for the descent. You just need to remember to put your phone away and enjoy the awesomeness of it all, or you won’t be able to stop taking photos. A great morning, well worth the early start.

This trip was amazing! I did the hike solo but met a couple of other like minded travellers who were a joy to hike with. Our guide was superb and took us the way of the crater trail on the way down which I highly recommend. We got lucky and the weather was amazing! To walk amongst the clouds will be a memory that will live with me forever.
Would definitely promote this hike to anyone that listens 😂
