Had an absolutely wonderful time in this Ketut tour . Our driver Agus , was excellent . Picked us up from our Airbnb and took us to our hike . Breathtaking views and an amazing experience topped off with a session at the hot springs . Much needed after the hike .
10/10 recommend !

Had the best driver Dodi, he picked us up from hotel door and took us down to the starting point for our hike. We had an excellent tour guide who was very motivating and helped us up the trail. We got a bike back down the mountain and he was straight there to pick us up, took us down to the Hot Springs and again, was there straight away to pick us up and drop us back off at the hotel! Very recommended.

The hike was one of the what things I have done in Bali (and this is probably my 7th trip). The walk is challenging in places but doable for anyone with average/reasonable fitness. My guide Ery was lovely l. I’m quite for so we don’t need to take many breaks but she would be patient is you need to go slower. She was very caring. The breakfast at the summit hit the spot. The views are spectacular from the summit and Ery knew all the what places to visit . My driver Sentana was fabulous, very safe and easy to chat to. Very knowledgeable about the local area and Bali in general. The visit to the hot springs was great for our legs and the coffee plantation was fantastic!
This is a must do when you come to Bali.

This was one of my best experiences. The tour was very well organised, special thanks to our wonderful guide Aku and driver Gede. We got contacted the night before about the time to be ready for pick-up from our hotel, the driver was very friendly, punctual, the drive to the meeting point was just a bliss. Our amazing guide Aku was super helpful and supportive, letting us take our time to take photos, catch a breath on our way up and guiding every step on the way down. We had quite an intimate spot with just a few more people to watch the sunrise whilst having our nicely made breakfast with Bali coffee. Definitely recommend this tour to everyone coming to visit Bali!

I booked on last minute and the confirmation and communication where great, which really put me at ease as I was travelling alone out of Sanur to visit Batur.
Dodi the driver was kind and patient in picking me up, he messaged ahead of time to confirm and waited on me getting ready as I was a little late. He also kindly stopped to get us water en route. He was great when we went to the waterfall later on in the day, offering to take pictures and videos for me ?
When we arrive in Batur, Lubak met us and he was an excellent guide. Immediately welcoming he got our kit sorted and we started the hike. I did this in January where the temp is a lot cooler and not as humid until descending around 9am.
Compared to hills in my home of Scotland, this was ideal! Not as long a trek up and rewarded with excellent views reasonably quickly. We made it up in just over an hour.
Parts were quite steep but the guides will stop for breathers. Lubak was friendly and funny, chatting away whilst we walked and he made it a very enjoyable few hours. He explained about the history of the volcano, surrounding farms and gave me such a good insight into Bali life, including their humour!
He knew where to go to miss the main mass of the crowds which built up quickly once sunrise hits. It was quite busy coming down, so he found us an alternative route to enjoy the descent and it's amazing views in peace. The photos I got from the morning were definitely memory makers thanks to Lubak- he was a total gent and brought lots of energy to the hike!
The breakfast at the top was a nice touch, finished off with Balinese coffee, which was needed at that point after a 2am pick up!
The coffee plantation on the way back was great as I got to try a wide range of coffee, tea and chocolate ? I got to purchase some delicious coffee for taking home and got back to my hotel knackered but thoroughly happy with the days adventure!
Would highly recommend this trip!

Loved the views, the hike even for me as a beginner was manageable, the tour guide was lovely, caring and attentive, didn’t have the eggs for breakfast but enjoyed the banana sandwiches, and snakeskin fruit with a energy bar and hot drink. Hot springs was a nice way to finish the trek.

This experience was everything we could have hoped it would be. We were met by Mudi, our driver, at our hotel at the arranged time of 3am. From beginning to end he was friendly and helpful. After an hour’s drive, we were handed over to Wayan, who took us up the mountain, securing for us the best view of the sun rising from behind the volcano. It was stunning, and Wayan’s service, preparing breakfast and hot drinks for the three of us, made it all the more special. After sunrise, he took us on a tour of the black lava fields, which was enhanced by his local knowledge of the area’s history. Once back with Mudi, we then went to the hot springs, which was a perfect way to round off the day’s tour. I would very much recommend this tour to anyone: the service is great, the locations are memorable and the overall experience is excellent value for money.
