We did the camping tour with our children (4-9y). The guide was so patient with us and helped the kids when the trail was a little bit tricky.
On the top, we got warm drinkings and a delicious meal.
We woke up at 5.30am, with tea and breakfast and a stunning sunrise.
We really enjoyed it. Sleeping in a tent, on a vulcano was definitely an unforgettable adventure for the whole family.

I must emphasize that the overnight camping experience at Mount Batur offers excellent value for money. Watching the sunset in the evening and witnessing the sunrise the following morning was truly breathtaking. Although I had previously hiked Mount Batur two months ago, this time, camping at its base added a new dimension to the adventure. We only hiked for an hour the next day. I highly recommend trying overnight camping at Mount Batur. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore beyond the usual tourist attractions in Bali

While I recently enjoyed a sunset tour of Mount Batur, I believe overnight camping is the ideal way to fully appreciate both the sunset and sunrise. It's definitely worth including in your Bali itinerary! I'm already planning to do overnight camping on my next trip to Bali in nine months.

We loved it very much!!! We were with the 2 of us and 1 guide, gEDE. The trek was not easy but after 2 hours we got at the top and boiled some eggs in de vulcano and got some snacks and a warm drink. The food was really good and the sunrise was breathtaking. Would really recommend 10/10 experience

Our guide Gede, was very good! Tents, sleeping bag, post-hike snack, dinner and breakfast were provided as well as headlights and water. It was a good decision climb up in the afternoon (3-5pm) then camp overnight and wake up (5am) for the sunrise instead of hike up Mount Batur in the wee hours of the morning.

The guide was very nice! The effort is worth it for both the sunset and the sunrise, we were a bit unlucky that it was quite cloudy and we managed to take a few photos but perhaps even more impressive to glimpse the sun in the clouds. Absolutely to do!!

The tour on the volcano was great :) From picking you up at the accommodation to the end of the tour, everything was super organized. My driver & the guide on the volcano were very nice and took really good care of me. I can therefore only recommend it. The camping and the great sunset and sunrise were an experience that I will not soon forget :)

All-round carefree package with free drinks, dinner and breakfast and an experience that you won't soon forget. Very great guides who really take care of you and explain everything. Can only recommend the tour before you torture yourself up there with 100 others just for sunrise.
