The family had a great time cooking the delicious dishes with Kawtar. The food was very tasty and going to the market was also very informative. Only one minus was to drink tab water with the food.

We did this cooking class as a family activity with our 12-year old son, and joined a small group with family from Berlin, who were great company. We were met by Kawtar in the Medina and went to buy the ingredients from several small shops in the souk. We went back to Khmisa's house and cooked a chicken tagine and the side dishes. The food tasted excellent and it was a very enjoyable experience for all of us. Definitely recommend.

We made the popular dishes of Morocco, chicken tagine, vegetable tagine, Morrocan salad, baba ganoush & caramelised carrot salad. Spices they used can’t be found in any English written website recipe so quite authentic. The recipes ended up very delicious and they give you the recipe at the end. They also taught you how they serve Morrocan tea. Desert was pastry’s and apple slices with yoghurt. The guide spoke good English. It was conducted in her aunts home.

My daughter (6 years) and I signed up for this. It was such a lovely experience. The host met us on time and took us to the house where all the cooking is done. We bought vegetables from the local market on our way. He chef explained the spices and we got to cooking. Such a lovely local experience. The food we prepared was so delicious and the hosts were great! I would recommend this.

Apologies for the late review.
Our host was efficiently speaking french and English and explained every steps carefully. The recipes and photos were sent to us later on via WhatsApp.
It was an excellent experience, 100% recommend. Will book again whenever I visit Marrakech again.

This was such an authentic and wholesome experience - definitely one of the highlights of our trip! The meal was delicious and chef Khimsa and her assistant Kawtar were so warm and welcoming. We would recommend to anyone interested in learning how to make some traditional Moroccan dishes while in Marrakesh ?

This was an incredible experience. Though she didn’t speak English, the chef was able to correct us when we were doing something incorrectly. The chef’s daughter explained everything very well. I was solo. There were 6 other people attending the session and they were so fun!

Nothing better than joining a group of new friends to learn to cook local dishes in someone’s home. From picking fresh ingredients in the local market (souk) to learning step by step favourite recipes. Definitely worth including in your travel itinerary.
