Highly recommend this tour! Anna was an excellent guide, very informative, a joy to be around. She really made our day both educational and fun. It’s an early tour but you are back in time to squeeze in a couple of more Barcelona attractions. One tip: enter the bus station and go down the stairs a couple of levels to find the office where you check in. They exchange the voucher for tickets, give you a radio and headphones and you are on your way, very efficient. There is food at Montserrat and we accessed it easily, but we were there in late December, might be more crowded in summer. All the attractions are unique, so don’t skip anything. The views of the countryside are stunning, and Anna’s narration really helped us understand what we were seeing and appreciate it at a deeper level than just reading about it. Again, highly recommend this tour with Anna!

Anna is a great guide, gave us tips on what to see and how to see the Montserrat which allows us to better appreciate the monastery.
She speak well too, which is an important aspect of a tour guide!

Great tour, hosted by both Anna & Facundo who were really knowledgeable and friendly in guiding us around Montserrat! Worth a visit time and time again as the views are amazing. Take a short hike if you have spare time at the top of the furnicilar

Probably the worst time I've ever had on a guided tour. Our tour guide had had zero flair for story telling, in fact she had a real talent for dragging out a simple statement into a 5 minute monologue with no real information being given, with way too many awkward, badly placed pauses which made the tour very unbearable, as well as her inability to turn off her microphone when it wasn't being used. She also liked to tell a group of maybe 40 to 'look where she's looking' with no indication of where we she was facing, so unless you had a good visual on her amongst the crowd, you didn't know where/what to look at. The content of the descriptions as I said was very badly articulated and constructed in her mind, she obviously did not really know that much about what she was talking about. Not to mention the 7 minute bathroombreak she squeezed in for all of us before getting on the train, telling us that if we didn't make it back on time she would leave us behind. In fact there were a lot of these- if you aren't here, you will get left. If you don't follow, I'm not coming after you- I felt like a kid on a very very dull trip filled with zero value.
I'd also like to mention that we were given perhaps one hour to explore but this is not enough time to look around without feeling rushed,or time to eat. There are probably a lot of great tours around, and most certainly better guides than Malena with Julia travels, but our excursion- sucked all over, but most of all- she really needs to work on her speech delivery. Would definitely recommend you AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
