The monastery and the surrounding area in Monserrat were really beautiful. The ride from Barcelona was quick and the commentary on the tour bus was very informative.
The area around the monastery is very commercial.
Didn’t get a chance to experience the boys choir but my friend’s said it was good.
The winery lunch and tasting was excellent. Staff did a good job serving lunch and Berta our guide did an excellent job on the wine tasting. The winery was old and quaint.
We left Barcelona around 9 am and returned around 7.15 pm.
Overall would highly recommend this tour and Berta as a guide.

This tour was amazing from start to finish. The views were awe inspiring and our tour guide Judit was very knowledgeable and fun. 10/10 Would recommend.

The views, the art museum were awesome. The lunch was very good and so was the wine tasting. The tour guides were excellent , as well. My issue is that it was too long with too much “free time” to wander around. Also, for me (a senior), there was too much walking and steps. If you’re ok with being on a bus with 40 or so other strangers, then that works. For me, not so much.

The visit to Montserrat was unforgettable and the winery was absolutely beautiful. Laura was such an amazing guide! She was kind and caring, and made the day educational and fun. The other Castleexperience guides were wonderful too. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour was a great experience! Our guide, Laura, was absolutely lovely.. fun and very knowledgeable. There was plenty of free time to wander around the beautiful grounds, so the tour did not feel rushed at all. The lunch in the winery was fantastic, and the wine tasting with Laura was informative and interesting. We totally recommend this tour!

My adult daughters and I enjoyed this day immensely. After touring the Abbey and seeing the Black Madonna we took the funicular to the top of the mountain and walked down to the cross. the initial descent was very steep, but the views were spectacular. After arriving back to the Monastery we sampled some of the local cheese available from vendors. We boarded a bus to the Oller del Mas winery. The drive down the mountain was amazing with many beautiful vistas. Once we arrived at the winery we had a delicious lunch of soup, chicken, and cake. We then toured the winery with our guide, Anthony. We climbed to the top of the castle which dates to the 900's and were treated with amazing 360 views. Once we were back down to earth we did a wine tasting while Anthony shared his vast knowledge of the winery and the wine making process. Afterwards our tour group shared a couple of bottles and saluted the bride-to-be in the group. The day was perfect. We appreciate all Anthony did to make it so.

Anthony gave an excellent history and highlighted all of the best of things to see in every section of our day.
I would definitely look forward to another day excursion if he was our guide

This trip to Montserrat and the Oller de Mas vineyard was wonderful despite the (unusual) heavy fog at the monastery complex. Our guide, Thais, did a great job of telling the history of the place, keeping us on track and giving us a great tour of the Oller vineyard and sommelier-level overview of the wines that we sampled

Laura was an amazing & kind guide! Our day in Montserrat was beautiful and we recommend the tour with extra time at Montserrat to explore & take the 20 minute walk (beautiful views). We also loved the local cheese/snack market, & well as the local liquor tasting (made by the monks). The wine tasting was fun as well!

A wonderful experience. Initially we had an excellent historical account of Barcelona and Catalonia. Judit our guide was most informative throughout the day, especially during the wine tasting. She was most knowledgeable, her smile was infectious and so enthusiastic about her work. We would highly recommend future visitors to barcelona to book their tours with Judit!
