Most people know a theme park inspired by one famous mouse. But one dedicated to monkeys? At Monkeyland, a natural habitat located deep in the Dominican Republic’s jungle and home to squirrel monkeys. On this 5.5-hour guided tour where you'll also explore the habitat's on-site botanical garden, as well as a coffee and cacao plantation. Such an amazing experience. Angel was a brilliant guide and provided a lot of extra information about the area, its history and the plantation. So so knowledgeable and his energy was contagious! All the staff clearly care for the monkeys and their welfare is top priority. Other reviews mentioned a lack of refreshments so we took some snacks for the journey. Cold bottled water was provided though. Thank you to the team for a brilliant day out! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Very good excursion, really enjoyed time leaning about chocolate making, coffee and of course the monkeys. Only down side was the organisation in getting us there we swapped busses 3 times and nobody really knew what was going on.

We loved the experience! Had lots of fun, our tour guide Santiago & driver Nelson were super kind & knowledgeable! Arias was one of the workers at Monkeyland, he was very nice as well! Overall a very good tour, had a bunch of fun & lots of laughs amongst the group! :)

The whole experience from the point of pick up to drop off was great! Completely recommend making this a must do excursion. The professional photos aren’t terrible but for the price to receive all the photos taken is a price you can’t turn down! Our driver was Juan Cruz who really made the ride there and back very fun and educational. Highly recommend requesting him as your driver I promise you would not be disappointed!

We took the tour today with "daddy" Eddy (our tour guide) & "uncle" Ricardo (our bus driver). Both did a fantastic job and were very knowledgeable about the area, and the Plantation. Eddy actually let part of the Plantation tour. These guys know their stuff, we're friendly and we'd definitely recommend taking a tour with them. Thanks guys for a great time today!

Visiting Monkeyland was such a unique experience. It was so great to hear about their habitat and all the things that they do to make them such interesting animals.
Additionally, we also participated in the bonus tour where we got to taste the local coffee, hot chocolate and Mama Juana. So delicious. It was as if we were in a classroom learning all of this knowledge. Special thanks to Rudy, Edgar, and Roy. Very fun family excursion. We also purchased the photos at the end of our session.

Absolutely the coolest experience we did in Punta Cana. Angel, our guide, made the drive up the mountain go quick with wonderful facts and jokes the entire way up. The monkey enclosure was so cool, having 4-5 monkeys jumping on you at a time! Afterwards we went to learn about Cocoa and Coffee, and Angel once again blew it out of the park with his mix of education and comedy. Would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone staying in Punta Cana!!!

It was a nice experience for my kids, they enjoyed the time with the monkeys. Resolution of the camera is not the best to be honest, but customer service and everything else was great.
