Amazing trip experience with Andreas(guide) and José (driver). In Mistic Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, Andreas was amazing at spotting different animals and plants to instruct us. We also visited La Fortuna Waterfall where the guide came with us up to the part where we could dive, making all that effort to go down all the stairs just to be ready if we ever needed assistance. In the end, we had lunch in a local restaurant, where the meal was great! Basically it was an excellent morning where we had opportunity to see nature at its best, walking in hanging-bridges with breathtaking views, meet new people, swim in a waterfall and eat good food. I recommend to everyone! Very friendly staff.

We went with Andres and could not hope for a better guide. Vast knowledge, personable, accommodating, careful, fun to walk with, excellent English. BEST photographer. left us with a lot of good memories. Ask for Andres.

We were picked up at 2:40 p.m. for this tour & the guide started by saying it was very late & we had to finish the tour by 4:30 p.m. or it would
be too dark, this despite the fact that the hike itself was over two hours long. The company should not offer a tour starting at this hour if there is insufficient time to complete it without rushing. Guide's English was poor & his explanations (such as they were & there were precious few of them) were not very clear. It rained so there was little animal activity to see but the guide rarely stopped to explain anything of the environment we were walking through other than to point out ants, cockroaches, two bats, one lizard & three plants. Frankly, there was no point to having a guide at all. It felt less like a hike/tour and more like a forced march to get to the end. I have travelled a lot and this was one of the most disappointing (not to say one of the worst) tours I've ever taken.

The Guide was awesome and helped spot animals and plants along the way. The view from the hanging bridges was fantastic. Guide also helped with photos . Very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Guide Nelvin and driver Carlos were terrific. We saw so many creatures and Nelvin took great photos with our phones through his scope. He has great knowledge about all the animals and plants. The hanging bridges were fun to walk over, but be sure to hang onto your cell phones. Nelvin was very nice to also take photos of us at the bridges and with the view of Arenal Volcano. Carlos was a safe driver in the comfortable air conditioned van.

Our guide was Jorge and he helped us see lots of different wildlife and was extremely knowledgeable about all the local flora and fauna. He had a spotting scope on a tripod to help us see the animals.
The suspension bridges offer excellent views and let you see the canopy of the forest from above which gives a whole different perspective.
Without the guide I doubt we would have seen any animals but he spotted snakes, lizards, and birds including woodpeckers and a motmot. He was also very helpful at getting photos of the two of us on the bridges which is difficult to do on your own.
Fair warning: the bridges are obviously really high, and the suspension bridges do move a lot. I don't like heights but managed OK by clinging on to the sides, and I still managed to look around and enjoy the view.
The only negative of this activity is that the bridges tour is very popular and it was one of the busiest places we encountered and often had to queue to go over the bridges as only a certain amount of people are allowed at a time. Still a great activity, but definitely not off the beaten track.

Our resort booked us a hanging bridges tour with Canoe Aventura. The shuttle picked us up right on time and made a few more stops at other resorts before driving to the Hanging Bridges.
Our guide Gustavo was very knowledgable and the use of his telescope allowed us to get photos that would've been impossible otherwise. The tour was unique and accessible to most almost all physical abilities.
