Join talented and knowledgeable guides on a journey along one of New Zealand's most scenic drives. All guides have unique and insightful stories to share, and spill the secrets of their beautiful backyard as you travel through lush rainforest, glacier carved valleys, alpine lookouts and much more. Enjoy spectacular short walks and incredible photo stops before arriving at the main event, magical Milford Sound.

On arrival at Milford Sound, board a modern and spacious catamaran exploration of the region’s most famous fiord. As the boat travels the length of the fiord to the Tasman Sea, the welcoming crew will share what they know about their place, its wildlife, waterfalls, and fascinating history.

Enjoy complimentary lunch before joining the crew for a dance in the spray of pure glacial melt as the boat noses close Stirling Falls for a refreshing finale!

An amazing tour, incredible scenery and would definitely recommend overall. The transport was excellent with windows in the roof of the coach which made a difference when travelling through the mountains. The stops at lookouts to take pictures on the way to Milford Sound x3 are brilliant, especially mirror lakes. There are charging USB points on the coach to charge your phone so bring your cable. We also stopped at Te Anau for 30 mins. You can get souvenirs here as there was no where else to get them on the trip…a few postcards of Milford sound! The cruise through Milford Sound fiord was amazing and a great experience. The waterfalls are beautiful. Take a raincoat as you get wet near the waterfalls which is great fun but it’s quite breezy on board. Only negative was that the boat was packed…full capacity and it was hard to get near the front or side to take pictures without having someone in it. You are provided with lunch onboard…includes a pie, crisps, apple, cookies…free tea or coffee/ water. I brought extra snacks as it’s a long journey and I wasn’t a huge lover of the pie! You can buy stuff on the boat too. Overall, despite the jostling for a space on the boat to snap a pic, it was a brilliant and well organised tour seeing different scenery we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Worth the money!

Excellent trip down with Norm who was a great guide & full of knowledge. Very pretty place but I found the boat trip a bit long. We could not stomach the trip back so flew back . The flight was good but a tad expensive.

Firstly, it's a long bus trip. Though broken up with stops to look at the stunning views along the way.
Milford Sound boat trip was excellent with a average lunch.
Tip: there are no ports to charge your devices on the bus bring a power bank and plenty of food and drinks. The buses have glass roofs,so bring sunscreen..

The whole journey is spectacular and we must seen with our own eyes to experience the entire trip. The views are stunning and you can still see snow at the top of the mountain. The tour operator is so well knowledge and explain it so well.
