It was truly a magical beginning. What a way to start the Christmas break. We booked a 3-hour tour with Armando (‘Army’) to show us around Milano. He met us punctually - in fact we were running a few minutes late due to unpredictable Milan traffic - at a convenient central location. Immediately his warmth was palpable as he made connections with the whole family including my hard-to-please teenager ?
He joked about everything as he delivered an informative historical context about the ‘North’ (Italia) driving some of our own references to Game of Thrones. He also did a fantastic job connecting to the two families’ experiences, one traveling from Germany and one from the U.S.A. Specifically he was clear about the colloquial vs. the mythical when explaining the different customs of current people. He even paid for coffee for us, authentic Italian per him. The one thing about him is that he was always his true self, a gentleman and entertainer who always knew what to do to keep us engaged, educated and moving. Wish we could spend another 3 hours with him. We strongly recommend booking a tour with him (again).

Francesco was an excellent guide, very knowledgable and extremely interesting, his choice of gelateria was also great. A very worthwhile experience for anyone proposing a short stay in the city for a whistle stop guide to both history, navigation and sights, a few nice surprises thrown in too.

Highly recommend this tour as a way to see the highlights in Milan + learn things you wouldn’t if you were touring on your own. Our tour guide was Saara and she was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and nice to be with for 3+ hours. It was a little bit difficult to find her at first since there were a couple different meeting points listed on the TripAdvisor app, so I would suggest to others that you just call your guide when you’re getting close. We only had one day in Milan and we feel like we had a great overview! I personally would recommend a tour like this one instead of waiting a long time to see The Last Supper. Thanks, Saara!

We enjoyed our walk with Sara. She shared a lot of highlights as we walked around the downtown core of Milan. She showed us several shopping areas, several restaurants, several museums and historical places. We ate at one of the restaurants the next day. It was a great introduction to the city from a local

Claudia was our tour guide & she was fantastic . I highly recommend this tour & if you can request Claudia, she has a wonderful sense of humour, with excellent knowledge & is great company. Aussie’s especially will love her.

I had less than 24 hours in Milan and wanted to see as much as I could. This tour provided this. I travelled all over the city, took public transport and received so much information, historical facts while having a great time. Salvatore was very informative and personable.

Claudia was wonderful and I enjoyed my tour! Loved going to the university library!
Make sure you connect with your guide before your tour. If you don’t get a response a day before try a different method. Claudia was not getting any my messages and we were standing in two different spots. I was at the location told by the app and she was using an address. If you don’t have a cellular plan it hard to connect with your guide.

Claudia was a wonderful guide, being guided by a local meant that we got to experience parts of Milano that we didn’t expect and wouldn’t have found ourselves.
Claudia was very engaging and entertaining, we felt like Milanese for a day.

It was a wonderful tour. We started off in the modern part of town and made our way through all the different areas of this beautiful city. My guide Eliz was charming and extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour as a great way to see Milan. I really enjoyed it.
