Great tour with close up view of hermit caves and visit to monasteries. Lots of stops to take breath taking insta pics. Must recommend this one.

An excellent day trip with a knowledgeable tour guide, breathtaking views of monasteries on top of rock pillars, and an introduction to the local history, religion, and geology. The bus ride was comfortable. The bus did not have WiFi. There were adequate breaks to punctuate the long journey--5 hours from Athens.

Jim, the tour guide, was great - very knowledgeable and entertaining. The views far exceeded my expectations. Unique place that’s definitely worth the trip.

We wished we could remember our tour guides name, maybe Tholis for short? But this young man was so knowledgeable and friendly. The stunning views and fascinating history was 100% worth the trip! If going in November, bring a jacket and be prepared for the winds. Listen to the suggestions about what to wear. The tour nicely provided a skirt for women for entry to the monasteries if did not wear one/bring one.

The sites were beautiful and Jim was a great tour guide. You can tell he had a real passion for Meteora. The downside was the 5 hour bus drive, it was brutal, but we understood the train ride had to be cancelled due to the rail lines being closed.

Tour Guide was difficult to understand his English. He needs to slow down and enunciate clearly. He was very kind, very presentable, intelligent and knowledgeable. A true gem to his employer.

Train was unavailable due to the tracks being washed out. The bus ride was long but finding the right bus that morning was difficult because there was no signage or guide to direct us. We asked a driver of another bus and he pointed out who to talk to. Signs or a posted list would have been very helpful.

An excellent trip with a very knowledgeable guide who made the trip very informative and interesting. The trip was by road as rail services were disturbed. Visiting the monasteries was a wonderful experience. Will cherish it.
