After years of providing private group tours for friends, family and businesses, we realised how much we love to please people and try and go the extra mile to see a bigger smile at the end of the day.

So we built out our new Yarra Valley Public Tour that has the necessary itinerary but also has flexibility to split up the group depending on their preferences on wine, gin, cheese and chocolate.

Most days you will find yourself being driven by the owner. If he is having a rare day off, you will be in the capable hands of one of his few trusted tour guides that also share his ethos of 'Going the extra mile to see a smile'

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. St Paul's Cathedral
St Pauls Cathedral, 198-206 Flinders St, 3000 You will be greeted by one of our tour guides in either one of our 14-seater white Mercedes-Benz buses or one of our 20-seater buses at 8.35am, where we will check you in and pick your seat. The bus leaves promptly at 9am or earlier if everyone has arrived. Late arrivals cannot be waited for. If everyone arrives early and we depart early then we can stop half way for a coffee and look for kangaroos (weather dependant).
2. Yarra Valley
Just a 60 minute drive to get you to your first winery. (30 minutes on the freeway and 30 minutes through the countryside and vineyards, passing through the lovely town of Warrandyte).
3. Soumah
We visit Soumah every day. You will enjoy a guided tasting of five different wines, varying from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo and Brachetto. You will be sure to find something pleasing while overlooking the rolling hills of the vineyard and the majestic Warramate Hills.
4. Four Pillars Distillery
We visit Four Pillars every day. Here you will enjoy four of their world-famous samples of gin on a paddle with your choice of mixer to wash them down with. (Or we can walk you over to the incredible Payten & Jones for a wine & vermouth tasting or one of their dozens of international beers they have on offer).
5. Payten & Jones Wines
Payten & Jones for a Wine & Vermouth tasting if gin isn't your thing. This is a 10 second walk from Four Pillars, so we can easily split the group up here depending on your preference. If you do not want a wine tasting, then we will happily buy you a beer from one of their dozens of International beers they have on offer!
6. Hubert Estate
We visit 'Quarters' restaurant @ Hubert Estate every day for lunch and a look around their indigenous art gallery on the floor below their cellar door. If you brought your own food, you can eat it somewhere away from their grounds. We will sit in the restaurant and enjoy lunch together. Food and drink are not included in the tour price here, as to give you more freedom to enjoy whatever you choose for your lunch. They offer a wide variety of fantastic food here and cater for all dietary requirements. "With a menu full of Modern Australian and European inspired dishes, Quarters is perfect for foodies, families, and everyone in between. Think succulent steaks, vibrant local veg, and delicate, flaky fish. Feeling extra hungry? Try some pasta, handmade on site, and our incredible (yes, incredible) woodfired pizza, unlike any others in the region. Lucky everyone has a second stomach for dessert, because our dedicated team of pastry chefs will tempt anyone with a sweet tooth."
7. Domaine Chandon
- If you are quick with lunch, we will happily run you to Chandon for a photo opportunity of the beautiful view. It depends on their busyness as to whether they can offer you a table to buy yourself a quick drink or not. **This stop is not always possible on public or school holidays or Saturday & Sundays**
8. Yering Farm Wines
We visit Yering Farm Wines every day. You will enjoy a guided tasting of five different wines and a bonus taste of a cider whilst enjoying the panoramic views! Yering Farm has a rustic tasting room, a resurrected hay shed beside the lambing nursery and orchard on the farm. The original 'Yeringa' sign was recovered and adorns the entrance. Pull up a stool or lean on the worn wooden bar as you are treated to a presentation of boutique wines, all grown and made on site.
9. Yarra Valley Dairy
If anyone from the group wants to stop in here for 5 or 10 minutes to buy some take-away cheese, then that will not be a problem at all. **This is a bonus stop so there is no time for a cheese tasting. Any cheese purchased here is not included in the tour price**
10. Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery
We visit the Chocolaterie every day for a fantastic guided tasting of 10 of there 500 different chocolates. The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery is a popular attraction in the Yarra Valley, known for their wide variety of handmade chocolates and delicious ice cream. Visitors can watch the chocolatiers at work, sample their products, and purchase gelato and gifts to take home.

If The Chocolaterie isn't your thing, then let your driver know at lunch and they will happily take you to Yarrawood Estate where you can buy yourself your last glass of wine of the day :)

Tom was a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable and guided us through the day expertly. It was a nice mix of wine, gin, cheese, chocolates and ice cream. The playlist couldn’t be faulted! We highly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed the wine & gin. Tom did a great job herding the cats and keeping us all on track without feeling pressured. We also appreciated the optional stop for coffee !

Fantastic day out, something for everyone- lovely wineries, gin tasting and chocolatarie to top off. Tom was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and great options to either chill out or maximise tasting options. Totally recommend!

"Hell of a day out". Perfect weather, good company and the driver was a good bloke. The wineries were all really good if you get a chance to go to chandogn take it.

Tour was great with a heap of flexibility in planning and on the day, picking the places we wanted to visit. Matt was a great host and made the trip really enjoyable with plenty of laughs along the way.

Highly recommend! Matt was a fantastic guide, real personable, knew the stops and area well. Good choice to go to the small family wineries, Soumah and Yering Farm Wines. The staff were lovely and they had grapes varieties that are out of the norm so got to try something new. The cider at Yering is delicious. Four Pillars distillery is a classic and always fantastic. Lunch at Quarters is well worth it and at the end we got to stop at both the Yarra Valley Diary to buy cheese, and the Chocolaterie for a testing.

We visited 2 wineries, a distillery and a chocolate spot. We were also able to sneak in a stop at Yarra Valley Dairy. If your asked if you want to stop for a tasting, definitely say yes! Matt was very friendly, with local knowledge. Was a great day overall!
