El Meco was a remarkable archaeological site for the Mayas civilization, there is the most important and spectacular building, El Castillo, and 14 ancient structures that you have to see. At the past, the site was used for trade from Cancun to Isla Mujeres and also to control the access.
For this tour you do not have to leave Cancun and travel 3 hours to see Mayan ruins, you can find an entire citadel just a few minutes away traveling in comfortable vans and with few people without being bothered by crowds and vendors.

The visit was so fabulous and interesting. We learnt so much!! Joanna is a great guide: very kind, smart and thoughtful. She loves her job and we can see it. Please do this visit if you want to know more on Mayas. El Merci is very close to Cancun: no need hours of transportation from hotel!

The views were amazing, the guides are wonderful and excited. It is highly
recommended.
The day was perfect and all the marina staff were super good with us.
They picked us up at the hotel very punctually and we finished the activity and they returned us.
We were able to keep our belongings in a locker in case they took things with them.
