Thank you Rob for an amazing trip and talk. Five stars for sure. My kids aged 13. 16 and 18 all loves it. You are taken to the top of the world to see the sun set then about an hour star gazing with talks about the constellations. I never post anything and had to post on this one: might be the best tour I have ever taken. Amazing night. Amazing stars. Solid standout vendor.

We drove up to the Visitor Center, but couldn't climb up to the summit observatory because there was a car accident on the road up to the summit and the rangers blocked the roads. The crew members too0k the whole responsibility for this cancellation, and drove us back to the place where we were picked up and, within a week, we got a full refund for the cancellation. I'll give it another try when I get to the Big Island next time, and SURELY I'll make a trip with these guys, again.

Our van driver Robert was so much fun and was a wealth of knowledge. Nothing can prepare you for the amazing views and the amount of stars. We learned so much and had a great time. Getting acclimated to the elevation by stopping on the way up was so smart and the snacks were helpful. The jackets they give you to wear are also such a fun touch. I made sure to have my own along because that part weirded me out, but there really was no need. It was well worth the money and I would definitely do it again.

What an amazing experience! The views were spectacular and the guide was extremely knowledgeable, and made every aspect of the journey fun and interesting. This trip is a must-do when visiting the Big Island and I highly recommend this company.

Great experience and we highly recommended, Robert was a great tour guide and always kept things fun. This tour was the highlight of our Hawaii trip and a must if visiting Hawaii, if you can only do 1 tour on the big island this one is it.

Really nice sunset above the clouds and clarity of the air gave us the sunset over clouds as well as the ocean. Well organised and good background on the satellites at site. Good to spend the 30 min to get use to the altitude at 3000 meters at the visitor center as well as to load up with some sugar. It was colder than expected at the Sumit especially as the sun was going down. It was close to full month so we only get to see the starry night for 40 min but great details was given to the different constellation.

Super smooth and amazing! Zack is a great driver, tour guide and photographer! The experience is much better than I imagined. Would highly recommend for those who don’t want to drive themselves up to the summit.

The crew took good care of the group. It was great to hear the stories of the landscape and the stars too. Everyone had a great time.
There were enough jackets to go around and the warm snacks were a big help.
I have 2 suggestions to improve the experience.
1. I think it would be useful to briefly share what constellations or celestial bodies would be visible based on the period of the tour, since it varies over the months.
2. While jackets are great, hand warmers would be most useful to quickly warm hands frozen from fiddling with camera settings!

This was a fun tour and took out the hassle of trying to drive to the summit ourselves. Blaze our driver was extremely knowledgeable and made even the cold bearable and fun.
The two downsides were once we got up the top it was a bit all over the place with no real direction on best vantage points as we fended for ourselves. Secondly our van was fitted with god awful brightly coloured floral oriental jackets. They were not at all warm and let’s say all photos with us wearing these will not able to be used! If we had know that was what we were going to be supplied we would have brought our own. When you are paying this much to go up you want the sunset to stand out in the photos not the jackets…
