This is a cashless and hassle free, relaxing 50ft Bamboo Rafting experience that has a local captain which raft a party of two persons down stream for at least an hour, that also gives you a opportunity to privately drink, play music and with a chance to man over/guide your own raft for picture purposes and been your own captain. In that same moment you’ll encounter in luscious vegetation, natural nature sounds and seeing or eating fresh fruits, and with also chance of buying souvenirs on the River banks while cruising through the tree to the finishing point that always feeling sad to know that it has come to an end.

The ride down the Martha Brae was magical. Some spots are so quiet you feel transported back in time. There are also several places to get souvenirs along the riverbanks (but not overwhelming). The organizer, Leon was an absolute pleasure! The locals call him “kartel” since he is so friendly and kind. Everyone knows him!!
We were nervous about traveling away from the resort and couldn’t have felt safer and happier with our decision to choose Leon and the Martha Brae Raft experience! He spent time sharing history of the the region and showing us unique locations along the way. Look forward to it for years to come!

Leon is #1 in Jamaica for a reason! Beautiful clean car, so knowledgeable, he goes the extra mile to make your day a good one. We felt very safe. He loves his homeland and it’s people and it shows. ??
Oct is rainy season so river was not clear but we were only raft on the river. So peaceful! Our raft captain taught us things about the trees, plants and history along the way. Great experience!

We had a great time! We learned so much about the culture and environment. We loved our driver and our captain. Both were super kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about their culture. It was really a must do. We are so happy we did it! We take great photos of you and are willing to do whatever for a great experience.

As a solo traveler, I was made to feel very comfortable and safe. My driver Leon was the best driver and guide. He was informative and knew the best places to go to experience the culture. I will definitely be back and I would recommend it
