Fantastic trip with guide Youssef and driver Aziz. Fun day out of the business of Marrakesh in beautiful Mother Nature in the mountains and the desert. Note camel ride is not obligatory if you don’t fancy it for whatever reason. Walk to waterfalls a little rocky but perfectly manageable. Lunch was excellent with stunning views. Youssef and Aziz went out of their way to help me after the tour had finished too for which I am very grateful. Don’t hesitate to book

The trip is amazing, definitely worths the price. It’s a full day event staring from 9am to 6:30pm. The camel ride was great. It’s in a village (not sure if it’s in the Agafay) and they even asked one person to take photos for everyone of us. The traditional cloths was also provided and we were treated with mint tea. We also visited an argan oil shop where they gave us free bread with delicious dips on a terrace. Our tour guide Lahcen showed us the village he grew up with. The meal was in his village. It’s Tajine which costs 70 DRH per person and it was delicious. The meal was optional so you can also skip it. We were already full after the bread so we didn’t eat much. I would suggest them to first bring us to the Tajine and then the argan oil shop. Then we went on a short hike up to see a small waterfall through the track in the village.
Our tour guide Lahcen was really kind and friendly, and he is happy to answer our questions about the attractions. It’s definitely a recommended experience.

We had an amazing experience today. Ibrahim was a great, knowledgeable, organized, polit and kind guide. Although we liked the whole experience from A to Z, the camel ride and the waterfall was our favourite parts!

Highly recommended, 5 star adventure!

Many thanks Ibrahim for letting us have unforgettable day in Morocco.

This trip is good value for money first you get picked up from your desired pick up location then you get driven to an area where you get to dress up as a local Moroccan and do a camel ride and get fresh tea given. You then get driven to another area where you sit down for breakfast and get given fresh tea again and this time you get given bread with fresh olive oil etc and you get to see how the local women handmake the local argan oil etc. You will then be driven to the bottom of the mountain this is where you’ll need hiking shoes as you’ll be climbing for about 45 mins up and another 45 mins back down. The waterfall at the top is nice and worth the climb. Be sure to get a glass of fresh orange juice at the top. After you climb back down you’ll walk to the restaurant for lunch. This will cost 70 dihram for one person. The lunch is tasty and you get your local typical Moroccan food. After you finished eating you’ll get driven back to the place you got picked up from. Overall good day trip it’s worth the price if you have time be sure to take this tour/trip. Good knowledge from the tour guide Ibrahim who is always with you and the group. Got picked up at 8:30am and dropped of just before 18:00pm

Excellent tourist guide Youssef Kamchad, explains carefully and patiently. The tour is totally worth it to get to know the Berber culture in depth.

We had the most amazing time! We were nervous at what to expect and how the day would go but there was fantastic communication before the experience and during. We were picked up from our hotel by Mohammed (a lovely and welcoming driver) and then stopped along the way to pick others up.

Ibrahim was our tour guide, throughout the entire day he checked in with everyone to make sure that we were all okay. After everyone was in the bus (around 11 of us) he described the intinary for the day and asked if we had any questions. He took photos of people when and if they wanted too.

We arrived at the first stop, where we had tea and biscuits. We then got into traditional wear (if you wanted) to ride the camels. We went on a 15 minute Camel ride - great fun and just the right amount of time. There were toilets here too.

We then went to the Argan oil place where we had a free breakfast of bread and dips (honeys and oils). The ladies there were lovely and welcoming. Then they talked about how they make the oil and showed us the range of products (we were in no way forced to buy anything but given the opportunity to look around and purchase if we wanted).

From here we went on to the Atlas mountains, we stopped and walked with Ibrahim up to the waterfall (which was beautiful). This was around a 2 mile walk, but he was checking in along the way to see that everyone was okay. We then went to a roof top resturant place which served us lunch (as advertised there was a cost for this lunch. It was 70DHR per person).

We then travelled back to Marrakesh. A lovely day and fantastic tour. Thank you again!

This is a great inexpensive day trip from Marrakesh. My favorite part was my first ever camel ride, and the delicious tajine lunch. Also enjoyed seeing how argan oil is made. Great safe driver on the narrow mountain roads, and helpful tour guide. My mobility didn't allow me to hike to the Waterfall, but driver drove me to the restaurant to await the others' return. Wonderful day. Highly recommend.
