look around 100 of Monet's masterworks. See 'Impression, Sunrise', which gave rise to the Impressionist movement, and his much-loved 'Water lilies'. Also on display are pieces by the likes of Gauguin, Renoir, and Degas, taken from Monet's personal collection.
There is no museum in the world boasts as many Monet paintings as Musée Marmottan Monet. If that wasn't reason enough to go, then its enormous collection of work by other Impressionist icons should be enough to seal the deal!
Access to the popular temporary exhibitions is also included in your Musée Marmottan Monet ticket.

Lovely to see some of the pictures displayed in a palatial setting
A real bonus to see the special exhibition on sport and artwork - prepared for the upcoming Olympic Games
And of course the basement full of Monets was a real delight

It was a VERY expensive cab ride to and from the Marmottan from our centrally located hotel and NOT worth the time and money. The Monets are not his good ones and the other objects d’art equally forgettable. It was a sad disappointment!!! The house is lovely though.

The whole experience was great. Lovely setting to see some beautiful artwork. Of course, the highlight were the Monet’s in the basement. Works that were his private paintings, not ever in exhibition.

Beautiful, for those who like art you will be surprised, it tells the story of the artist Monet through his works and original period pieces. The service at the place is very good, everyone is very attentive, super organized, it's not crowded, you can walk around the facilities in peace.

Nice museum but not much in the way of Monets. A lot of Berthe Morisot and fair amount of Napoleonic items. Sisley, Corot, Degas, Caillebotte.

Beware! Cost of skip the line is $22/ ticket. Cost at entrance is $12 per ticket. Other online skip the line compsnies offer much fairer cost for same service.
