Marietas Island is a national marine protected area that is why we have the best naturalists and biologists on boat. They will share their expertice with you.
Our boat is comfortable, safe and fast.
We only take small groups (max 10 per boat) and our trip is really focused on snorkeling and enjoying the beauty of the islands and visit the hidden beach (with some restriction out to our control). Only 116 persons have access to the hidden beach and you can be lucky to get to swim to inside. (NOT EXTRA COST ADDITIONAL).
Our biologist and naturalist take you to discover great beaches and beautiful scenery amongst blue footed boobies and other wildlife.

Great day out with Michael and Raphael. Beautiful weather. Micheal was very knowledgeable and Raphael was careful and precise about navigating us around schools of porpoises, even spotted a few whales even though it was late in the season. The trip was the best part of our vacation to Puerto Vallarta. Beware, even in May cold currents! Be prepared with gear.

The tour was fantastic! Our captain Rafa made us feel so secure and handled the boat in waves and swell to give us amazing views of the wildlife without disturbing any birds. Our guide Luis was super fun and knowledgeable - we genuinely enjoyed his company!
We made it into the hidden beach, which was a bit of a surprise! It was very cool but more of an adventure than we thought it would be. The swell was quite big, but our guide studied the waves and we made it through the tunnel without getting too close to the rocks. If you’re not a strong swimmer, it might be a bit of challenge.
The islands are gorgeous and covered in amazing birds. Would definitely recommend this trip!

We were fortunate to get access to the beautiful Isla Redonda, one of the two islands that make up Islas Marietas. The nature reserve was truly stunning; it can’t quite be captured with photos. We also had a great snorkeling adventure where we saw a good variety of fish. Luis and Rafa were super friendly and knowledgeable guides. Highly recommend this activity, especially if you’re a nature lover and care about supporting ethical local businesses!
P.S. I do not recommend this activity if you’re prone to sea sickness. It’s a fairly small boat and you will be on the open waters for several hours.

Went on a wonderful tour with Michael and Alejandro. I have a bit of a water phobia and Michael was very kind and quick to make me feel safe, and incredibly knowledgeable about the marine flora and fauna - overall very impressed with the care and love this company seems to show their marine life. Oh, and the hidden beach was an absolutely magical experience!

Best excursion ever! Rodrigo was fantastic as a tour guide and Martin was a wonderful boat captain. We saw two pods of Orca Whales! Rodrigo gave us great background of the area and was super patient with two of our timid snorkelers and one swimmer who was asthmatic. We are recommending b this to all our friends! We have 4 children, aged 10-15. You won’t regret it. Ask for Rodrigo

Beautiful islands! Cynthia and Rafa were great hosts and made the trip. The ride out was amazing as we saw both Dolphins and Humpbacks and Cynthia was quite knowledgeable on both.

amazing small group trip to marietas. lucked out and got entry to hidden beach. the snorkeling is full of all kinds of fish and marine life. saw dolphins and a whale on the trip. lots of birds including blue footed boobies. the guide and captain were great! highly recommended.

Our snorkelling tour to Islas Marietas was the highlight of our stay in Puerto Vallarta. Our guide, Maggie, was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. A trained naturalist, she really cares about her guests and she really cares about this place. Captain Rafael was calm and professional. The trip was in a small zodiac but we liked the fact that the groups are small. The snorkelling was great but for us the best part was seeing the marine wildlife along the way - two species of dolphins, a majestic manta ray and many many humpbacks. We would recommend EcoTours Vallarta if you're looking for an aquatic adventure in PV.
