Step aboard the teak decks of elegant 1920s style yachts, Manhattan or Manhattan II, and enjoy a 2.75 hour cruise while learning about NYC's architectural landmarks from the water. The "Around Manhattan" tour narration, provided by members of the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) NYC chapter, is general enough for visitors yet detailed enough for the locals.
Experience a comfortable and unique tour through the Hudson, East, and Harlem Rivers from a glassed-in observatory cabin, which has sliding windows for a fresh breeze, or wander to an open bow for more unobstructed views of the surrounding sites. On this cruise, guests will circumnavigate the island of Manhattan, passing under all 18 bridges, while taking in monuments, architecture, parks and infrastructure with narration throughout the cruise.

• Guarantee of a full circumnavigation of Manhattan is not included. On rare occasions, the Spuyten Duyvil train bridge is inoperable and cannot open for us to pass through. This is often times not known until our tour is underway. River closures may also occur for a number of reasons. There are no refunds for tours that cannot fully circumnavigate. We will accommodate such cases with a tour that features a double backing of the route and further detail of the waterfront sites.

One of the best tours I've been on! Our super knowledgeable guide made the time fly by as we sailed around the entire island of Manhattan. A unique experience for sure. Will do again with friends!

Andrew was very informative on the Yacht Tour and the views of New York were spectacular! If you love sightseeing, this is the trip for you. Great fit for all ages. Check the weather before booking to avoid the fog, I am sad to say it was a little foggy on our trip.

This was a fantastic way to see lots of Manhattan, even on the rainy day that we chose. The guide, Andrew, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Captain and crew were superb. We sailed on the Manhattan II, which is a very nice boat with plenty of room to move about. We highly recommend this tour.

Lovely yacht and great guide! My husband was impressed that I managed to find an educational tour (ok, we might even say “nerdy” but in a good way!) that still included seeing the Statue of Liberty and boating ALL THE WAY around the island of Manhattan, which I honestly didn’t even know you could do!

I've been on a lot of cruises around cities, but this was probably the best. The staff couldn't be nicer. The boat was super clean. The bathrooms were impeccably clean which is a big change from boat bathrooms on cruises. The information provided during the tour was awesome. I'd recommend this to everyone.

The crew and tour guide were great! Very attentive and informative about the buildings, history and infrastructure workings of Manhattan. We got a close up view of Ellis island and the Statue of Liberty. To go around the entire island of Manhattan and under all the bridges was a treat. Highly recommend this tour for a different view of New York.

Super pleased with The Manhattan Architecture Yacht Cruise. I booked two tickets online weeks before for my parents who is their first time visiting Manhattan. Knowing they'd be jetlagged and one of them isn't great at endurance walking, I figured this cruise allows them to see the City with comfort.
Afterwards they expressed how awesome the tour is. The guide is fabulous at explaining the city scape while all staff are friendly and approachable.

One star is taken off because at the check-in booth, the attendant isn't aware of and couldn't retrieve my Viator booking with my Viator confirmation number. I had to turn on cell roaming to show her the confirmation email. Hence there's obviously miscommunication between the cruise company and Viator. Nevertheless, the attendant is friendly throughout and problem solved quickly by ensuring me that we'd be able to go on the cruise, that this is the company's issue with Viator and they'll figure this out.
Overall, pleased with and certainly will recommend this Manhattan activity.
