We visited the Aquarium without great expectations, we had already read that it was not very big. Which is not a bad thing in principle. It is nicely decorated and the fish/aquariums are certainly fun to look at. There were quite a few people when we went. The “new” part of reptiles and amphibians is far too small, not accessible enough for the people who have to pass through. We had to skip this because everyone is stuck on top of each other and stays there for far too long for photos etc... otherwise it was a nice visit.

Cute, small and disorganized structure.
Too many people enter concentrated in a single small structure, they should be screened out in sectors.
Very basic aquarium... don't expect anything, in an hour you'll be fed up.

The aquarium and the exhibition above are very nice, you can learn a lot about ecosystems, there is an experience in a “submarine” not to be missed. The bar on the ground floor offers a wide choice of drinks. All in all a pleasant experience.

I can't rate it very good when we have experienced other aquariums...
But it's a fun tour for kids around St Paul Bay
It's not worth the detour if you're staying in Valletta but if you're in St Paul your children will surely be delighted with this water break

The aquarium was a goal for us. But we discovered that although they charge a higher entrance fee, there are no facilities for disabled people (such as a wheelchair). The aquarium's service team is also not very competent and boastful!

What is good is the attached restaurant. In a very modern atmosphere, you can at least get something to eat there if you are prevented from visiting the aquarium.

It's a shame that they don't offer any facilities for disabled people - with the high entrance fees, that should be the case!

Short 45 minute visit reading all the tablets and with few fish
An ultimately unconvincing simulation.
Having made other aquariums, this one will not remain as a reference, that's for sure.

Where I live in the UK we have a aquarium so after visiting that I had pretty low expectations as ours is disappointing. This however i really enjoyed. There is so much information and interactive.
An amazing cool simulater deep diver which I really enjoyed. Like I say from the outside as a tourist and seeing the work in the cafe being done I wasn't really expecting much. However we'll I really enjoyed as did my family.
Feels authentic and just really well thought out

Entrance costs €16.90, opting for the online ticket costs +/- €13 and entry is direct. In addition to the aquariums with fish, they have reptiles and a different experience to have 😉

Weather was wet and cold today so we headed for this attraction. The adult entrance price is €16.90, which we were ok with - until we saw how much of the centre WASN’T open. We then realised it was a VERY expensive ticket, especially as what little they had on show took us only twenty minutes to get around. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED CASH.

All in all, it's a nice aquarium, even if it's "small", I really liked it, I especially appreciated the zebra shark and the blacktip sharks, it's an expanding structure.
Don't look at it from above, it's all underground
