We had a very enjoyable experience with Jorge. He gave the history of many areas of Madrid in addition to the food stops. We booked another tour in Seville too! One piece of advice….don’t eat before the tour. It is a lot of food and you do not need to eat anything before the tour.

Jorge Ortega was such a great host and gave us a really interesting experience. He introduced us to food that we would never have found on our own. The history of some of the outlets were really interesting.

It was lots of fun. Plenty of interesting food and drinks and great information and conversation. Madrid is a great city. Our guide was Jorge and he was knowledgeable and passionate about his city.

This was a terrific tour. Josephine Maria was warm, knowledgeable, and beyond considerate to all of the guests in the group. She had us all laughing at times and her great outlook made the tour fun for us. We felt like we had several new friends by the end of the afternoon. We sampled many foods/beverages that we would not have known to have tried on our own, and learned the history behind these special items.

Being able to see Madrid through a locals eyes is the best experience. The food and drink in the tour was all delicious and I don't think I'll need anything else to eat today ?.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic local food and wants to see another side of the city

We had a blast on our Secret Food Tour in Madrid! Jorge was a wonderful tour guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The food at each stop was incredible - it was great to get a local’s perspective on the food culture here. I would highly recommend going on a Secret Food Tour!

The tour started on a glorious morning in the center of Madrid. My guide Jorge was amazing and knowledgeable. The food showed all I needed to know about Madrid and Spanish food. There was plenty of food and drinks for breakfast and lunch. Our group had a lot of fun. I will definitely return to the same places next time.

Our guide Jorge Ortega knows old town Madrid inside and out. The stories behind the stops on the tour are fascinating. The thing with tours such as this is that the food along the way isn't necessarily the best of its kind, but when you hear the background of the establishments it certainly adds to the flavor. Jorge is very engaging and there wasn't a dull moment during the 3.5h we spent with him.
