Madrid Thyssen Museum Small Group Guided Tour

When our scheduled guide had a family emergency, Fernando, the company owner, reworked his scheduled and personally gave us a private tour. We learned a great deal, and Fernando brought the art to life while making the most of what ended up being a truncated tour. Since we were unable to complete the full tour, Fernando refunded most of the tour cost to us. We were not expecting a refund and greatly appreciated it. This is a small tour company who truly cares about its customers having a great experience

Stefi was a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information on the collection. Stephi was kindly accommodating to our mobility challenges as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

Stefania was a great ! She guided us through the museum with professionalism and passion. All my questions were answered. And I had quite a few. She was very eloquent and easy to understand. She knew her art and the stories behind the artist and his work.

Our tour guide Stephanie shared her extensive knowledge with us. It is impossible to visit the whole museum in a few hours but our guide was certain to show us key works of art representative of the styles at the museum.

Our guide was knowledgeable and hit all the high points of the collection. She gave us a new appreciation of the various styles of artwork and explained the avant garde art movement very well.

Our guide Stephanie was the most informed guide I have ever meet. We could have stayed with her all day listening to her explain aspects of the art that we had forgotten or not known. Her knowledge base was very evident in her presentation. Using the mobile earplugs really helped hearing her in the museum. By all means do this tour and then go back to look at the art again with a new understanding.

My husband and I had one of our best tour guide experiences with Stefania at the Thyssen Museum. In just 1.5 hours, we explored an abundance of artwork as Stefania provided extensive descriptions and pertinent background knowledge for each individual piece as well as transitions between to show how they fit into the overall historical chronology of the museum’s collection. Stefania has a gift for weaving information into an engaging narrative that is comprehensible and digestible for her audience. And although Stefania was the expert, she was extremely personable and easy to talk to, which made our learning experience interactive and feel more like a conversation among friends.

We loved the visit to the museum. An incredible experience, we learned a lot and our guide Stefi was very informative and pleasant, making the visit more interesting. It is very worth it since the format of these reduced tours allows you to go deeper and enjoy the visit better. We will repeat without a doubt!!!
