The tour and guide were very good. The city was mad with crowds, police and protesters so it was a little tense at times. But we were a small group and all returned safely.

The Bike tour was a really fun way to experience Madrid. the parks and bike trails were excellent and superior to most other cities.

Tour was efficient, everybody was nice, bikes worked, guide was knowledgeable. But…Madrid is not very bike-friendly and we went through some very dangerous roads with lots of traffic. There were about 9 of us which is way too many people for 1 guide when we are trying to traverse crowded intersections.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to contradict a previous reviewer who said Pablo didn’t know any history and led a dangerous bike tour, as my experience with Pablo was the opposite, but perhaps it was a different Pablo? Either way, I had a great time biking around the city and the Parque de Retiro while learning interesting facts about each spot we stopped at along the way, and Pablo led a perfectly safe tour as well.

E-bike tour with Fran was well worth doing and good value largely because of Fran’s enthusiasm and humour as well as his knowledge. Just don’t mentioned Athletico!
E-bikes are a great way to see Madrid and these guys are central and at 3 hours the tour is just the right length of time.
Great to do early in your visit and go back to the places you liked.

Retiro Park was a perfect place to tour on our electric bikes, especially after navigating through the Madrid traffic. Pablo was great stopping and showing us the sights and gave us plenty of time to check things out and take photos.

Let me start with the positives: The operator uses brand new electric bikes that are fun to ride and perform extremely well. They also give you a helmet liner so the rental helmets stay clean and tge departure point is located conveniently close to major attractions.
…but the tour was conducted is a fashion that was unsafe and uninformed. Luckily everyone in our group was experienced cyclist so we could keep on with our guide who just took off after the stops - going into busy 3 lane traffic lanes without any communication or coordination.
We never felt so unsafe in a bike tour and we have done 50+ tours in many cities we visited in the past.
The guide Pablo was nice and offered to take pictures but he seemed completely uninformed about the city and - besides a couple trivial pop culture facts - but unable to share any historical or cultural details.
Would not repeat this - which is a shame as the operator clearly invested in high quality well maintained bikes.
