Was a well organized and very good tour. The guide explained the Royal Palice very well as well as assisting and helping people when needed.

The palace is really beautiful but our guide didn't speak loudly and didn't speak into the microphone, she wasn't expecting the group even though we asked her. She seemed inexperienced and we learned a lot more with the audio guide than with her. The other disappointment is leaving late because of people who were not on time even though the majority of the group was there.

We got a WhatsApp message 5 days before to change the time of our tour. We messaged the provider 3 times about the change but no response - we had to get Viator to follow up. On the day, we were supposed to leave at 9.45am but with waiting for late arrivals (over 25 minutes), queuing to get in and then waiting for people to drop off rucksacks, it was. 10.45am before the tour started. Our group must have had 40 people, far too many.
By this stage the palace was very busy and you could barely see the rooms. The tour felt rushed as most of the group were going on a walking tour afterwards then to the Prado - Palace tour lasted just over an hour. This is not what we expected and we were very disappointed. Would not recommend this tour. We booked for a single tour but this was 3 tours one after the other.

This was a wonderful tour. I especially liked that it was a small group and that it started on time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made sure that we had good views of all the sites, even with the crowds. We did originally schedule a 9:35 am tour, it was changed to 3:00pm. Which actually worked out fine for us. The earpieces provided to listen, could have been better.

It’s a beautiful monument and well worth visiting. Interesting because it is a palace that is still in use for high level functions and visits. The opulence is amazing.

The banquet hall the royal bedrooms the art the violins. The overweling opulance. It was one room after the other each more beautiful.

Good your and beautiful palace. Palace was packed so would have been nice for your guide to speak louder and more clear. Also would have been nice to have her hold some sort of indicator to show where she is. But all in all, good tour!

I waited for guide for about a hour at the group enterance. The guide was rude and didn’t know what she was doing or what she was talking about. She screamed at me for trying to get on the line that was for “skip the line.” I tried to explain that we have “skip the line tickets.” That we had tickets for 10:15 am that point it was 11:15 am but Laura instead of trying to get into the palace was screaming at me and my mother in front of my child. She screamed in front of the guards. The guard saw me waiting for almost an hour and was ready to let the whole group in. But she forced us to go to the back of the line. Some people left. We all complained to the contact that contacted us prior to event . Laura ruined everything! I want my money back!

I’ve used Viator before in numerous locations. I found this tour had too many people in the group. Also there was no skip the line, as it took about 1 hour from the time of check in to the time we finally started touring inside. Waiting to get started, in a line for security, then waiting for storage and by then bathroom break and still had not started touring. Found the palace in need of maintenance (cleaning). Been to other palaces and this was not my favorite.

This was one of the best ways to see the royal palace. Our tour guide was great and full of detailed knowledge about the palace. It was very cool to see inside and well worth the wait to get it. Just be warned that you may be waiting a little bit to get through security into the palace!
