The tour was excellent, I wasn't prepared for this type of positive energy and knowledge from Javier. I tottaly recommend if you want to get to know the city and good places where you can go sightseeing.

Paul made the history of Spain & Madrid come to life for us. He was a fantastic guide with added doses of humor throughout the tour. We learned so much about the city & Spain - especially the Austrian "hamburger" kings and the influence (or the lack of influence) they had. Many of the sites we visited would not be on a hop-on/hop-off tour, so we saw some unique places, like the oldest restaurant (a favorite Hemingway watering hole) in the world & the oldest barbershop in the EU. The rain stayed away till the very end of the tour (we left at 11am & finished at 1:15pm) which was perfect to finish our day of sightseeing by ducking in for an amazing lunch at Tapa Tapa. My kids (18, 15, 13), my parents (79 & 78), and my husband & I all gave the tour a 5-star rating. If you can book the tour directly at Plaza del Sol (not on this site), do it. Just show up on the half hour or hour. The guides get the least amount of money if booked through a 3rd party web-site.

We enjoyed our tour with Melissa! She’s a very nice and charismatic person, and knowledgeable guide. She keeps things simple and interesting, and leaves no questions unanswered. Also, gives very useful tips on places to eat and hang out. Totally recommend!

Rosio was the best, she was extremely knowledgeable and was interactive with us during the tour. She even took us to beautiful spots where we could enjoy the city and learn the beautiful history of Madrid
