The Madrid Wine Tour takes you to three wineries int he countryside with a tasting of all their wines.
Modern and traditional winemaking coexisting at the Tagus river valley, the historical and current wine region of the Madrid province (Certified Denomination of Origin Vinos de Madrid).
The Madrid wineries selected are a mixture of modern and traditional styles. All of them show a different aspect of winemaking. The selection of wineries depends on the day availability.

Antonio was very knowledgeable about the wines and wineries we visited. The tour started on time from the scheduled meeting place. Our van was comfortable with 7 guests. We had a leisurely ride to the first stop which had the most modern of equipment mixed with older style vats. We tasted 4 very different but delicious wines. After a brief ride, the second stop was at a facility with much older equipment including clay vats well underground. We walked down several flights of stairs to the cool lower level where many bottles of wine were stored. The history of this place was breathtaking. We ascended to a meeting place where a table was set with a variety of meats and cheeses. We tasted three interesting wines each with a distinctive flavor. On to our final destination again a short drive from the previous stop. After a tour of the winery and the impressive lower level where many wooden barrels of wine were finishing their development, we again were treated to a well apportioned table and four different wines of various color and flavor. All too soon we journeyed back to the origination point and an adios to a great tour. We highly recommend this tour and our guide, Antonio. One final note, my wife had a surgical boot on her right foot due to a fractured bone. Although this did limit her mobility some, Antonio was very attentive to her as we descended and ascended the multiple stairs of our tour. He provided assistance where rails were absent. Great attention to the needs of his clients. He also presented the tour in both Spanish and English.

Unique experience seeing Madrid wineries. Learned a lot of the local agriculture and what make the Madrid wines unique.

Amazing experience!!! Was expecting a lot since the reviews were great and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Antonio, was the best!! He taught us a lot about wine and was very friendly. The group was also good. The wineries were a dream to go into their undergrounds. Can’t wait to do it again!

Loved loved the tour, and let me tell you why:
1. Ismael our tour guide was amazing, he really knows a lot about wines, he gave us a good history about wine making, legends, myths and facts :) also a good induction about the wineries we are going to, and what makes each one different than the other and the wineries you see out of Spain.
2. About the wineries we went to: each one was different than the other, and this is what i loved about the tour. one that is eco friendly, the other had some caves, one that had historical pots. their wines also tasted different. Each winery owner was there to greet you, and speak about his winery + they offered a lot of delicious tapas with every wine they serve.
3. It was a good change of scenery out of Madrid, being there in the country side was honestly beautiful, it is like seeing another side of Madrid you dont see within the city.
Overall I highly reco the tour

Such a great winery tour with Nacho guiding us! He shared so much knowledge about Madrid and the regional important for Spanish wine!
The wineries were an awesome experience. I ended up buying 6 bottles to enjoy back in NY!
