The Madrid Wine Tour takes you to three wineries int he countryside with a tasting of all their wines.

Modern and traditional winemaking coexisting at the Tagus river valley, the historical and current wine region of the Madrid province (Certified Denomination of Origin Vinos de Madrid).

The Madrid wineries selected are a mixture of modern and traditional styles. All of them show a different aspect of winemaking. The selection of wineries depends on the day availability.

1. Madrid
Meeting Point at: At the front door of the cafetería of hotel Claridge, next to the main door of the hotel. Plaza del Conde de Casal, 6, 28007 Madrid Closest Metro Station: Conde de Casal (Line 6) The use of cafeteria facilities is only allowed for their customers. Don't be late, the tour departs on time (Extra cost to join the tour once it departs are on the clients who lose the tour) Visit three of the region’s contemporary and centennial wineries,tasting the wine with the winemakers amid medieval towns, old vineyards and gorgeous picturesque views. 2. Community of Madrid
About 19 miles (30km) away from the capital’s center, you’ll find yourself in the heart of the Madrid's main winemaking area, known as Vinos de Madrid – a Spanish Denominación de origen (DO) territory. All wines produced here adhere to strict production guidelines so they have are able to proudly display the DO Madrid labels on their bottles – an indication of the region's high-quality wine.
3. Community of Madrid
Please note that this itinerary is an example only and may be subject to change. The oldest winery in Madrid will be the first stop. There we will meet the owners and the guide will inform us about everything we need to know. We will taste several wines and then we will be ready to continue to the next winery. 4. Chinchon
Please note that this itinerary is an example only and may be subject to change. Next, we arrive to another Madrid town where we will visit a cellar with centenary caves and winemaking in claybaths. The guide and the winemakers will instruct us about the wine process while we taste more wines. Then we will leave for the third stop of our Madrid wine tour Please note that this itinerary is an example only and may be subject to change.
5. Colmenar de Oreja
Please note that this itinerary is an example only and may be subject to change. A labor house in the limits of the town, wine and oil producing hacienda. Fifth generation of winemakers. End of the tour back to the meeting point. this tour was great! Our guide, Antonio, was lovely, extremely knowledgeable (makes his own wine!), and welcoming. The hosts of each winery were equally as hospitable and willing to share in their process, knowledge, and space with us. Tastings were great— delicious wines from the region, and generous pours. Bus ride there was comfortable and clean and quick. Would book again!

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Ishmael, was very thorough and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to get out of the city and learn more about the Spanish vineyards and see how the grapes are grown and processed. .

Excellent tour!! Our guide Ismael was extremely informative and we enjoyed the balance of information and guest interaction. The wineries were excellent and I learned a lot about the appellation and that potato chips pair well with hummus and wine.

Great guide, great wine. I’m no wine connoisseur, but you don’t have to be, great for someone just interested in wine and the wine making process. It was a girls day out, good times had by all.

Wonderful half day in the countryside and small towns visiting vinyards and wine cellars! Ismael was very engaging, knowledgeable and passionate about wine and the history of making wine in space. The wine tastings were lovely and very generous.

What an AWESOME experience. Can’t say enough about what a great time we had. Worth every penny. Ismael (spelling sorry) was an amazing host/guide. And there was plenty of wine along the way. We also learned a lot :) 🍷 It was our favorite tour in Spain.

Alberto was a very knowledgeable guide including history and impact on wine, along with good overall wine knowledge. Of the 3 wineries visited, one was actually located at their vineyard and production site, the other two were at the production facilities and tasting rooms.
Alberto provide most of the information at the later two with some input from owner using him as an interpreter. The caves at the last 2 facilities were fascinating and understanding their purpose.
Wine for the most art was very good and reasonably priced if wanting to purchase. Not Gran Reserva quality but good.

Nacho was an amazing! Really nice and friendly guy who was very knowledgeable about wine, the wine making process and the wineries that we visited. All of the wineries were different so you got to experience a nice variety. We visited the vineyards, wine caves and a small town that had several wineries. The wine and food were excellent and the tour was well organized. We received a lot of wine and food on the tour and overall, it was a great value for the money. I would definitely book this tour again!
