Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

The best luau experience I have had. From parking at arrival to departing the entire night exceeded expectations. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. The open bar had better than average mai tai's, the food was delicious and the lines for the buffet moved quickly. Our party was all amazed at the mango trees on the property including the one in the main tent area. The show was great. Other luau's put more of an emphasis on describing the hula and bringing people up on stage. This is all about the story which I think is an excellent approach. Through the story telling one gets to experience different types of dance including some amazing fire displays.

Great show and good food! A lot to see and do before the show: train ride, displays by artisans, tour the plantation house and visit the shops! Before the show there was entertainment by the check in line.

Our young children loved the train ride. They were able to get off the train and feed the horses and pigs.
The event has a lot of attendees but there are organized and the lines went by quickly. Great customer service, easy to self park, and never felt like we were waiting for the show to start. Highly recommend.

Very organized seating arrangement. Believe it or not that was a concern of mine. The food was great and plenty. And to top it off with great proformices by all the participants.

Watching the men with the fire torches. The story line was very touching. I loved the different colours in there clothes!

Luau Kalamaku provides a truly unique Hawaiian cultural experience with great stories of Hawaii, native dance, and local artisans displaying their talents. Fire handlers were AMAZING! Food and service was good quality, friendly and efficient.

Hula dancing, storytelling, and fire dancers loved it well worth it. Would go again. Food and drinks were great. Vendors sold spectacular art work.
