Louvre Museum Small-Group and Skip-the-Line English Guided Tour

Florian was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and articulate. It was great going in a small group, we learned a lot.
Would recommend emphasizing on your communications that tickets are picked up and the guide is met off the Louvre property to avoid confusion. (Most tours you meet outside entrance of the museum.)

It felt very rushed. They tell you it starts at 09:00am, but they don't even open their doors till 09:00am, and we had to wait to gather everything, then we waited for a third couple to arrive. You skip the main line, but you still have to get in the group line. The
guide was very knowledgable and you can tell she loves the museum. She seemed frustrated because she tried to zip through the museum to hit everything, but as we had an older couple, it slowed us down. She was not able to take us to Napolean before she left us. She pointed out areas how to get there, and ran off to meet another group. We didn't get her name, because we were waiting outside the building for the guide, before we realized to go inside and she had already mentioned her name, but didn't repeat it. Our tour ended promptly at 11:00am, not enough time with guide. We did have our tickets so we could explore the museum on our own. If our group was any bigger we might not have heard her. You should invest in those microphone/ headsets for groups.

I was a bit leary when I booked this knowing that cancelations are NOT allowed. It was a tad confusing with directions as we just guessed it was inside the tourism building (as we didn't notice thar at first with all the pedestrians walking by. Definitely go with the small group as it makes it sooo much easier to hear, keep up, ask questions etc. I recently had surgery and our long legged tour guide was very accommodating in my request to not walk too fast. And please TIP your tour guide!!!! At least 10%. Ask yourself, will it really break you giving a few euros more? In summary, I highly recommend this tour especially if you have limited time to see all of the Louvre

Truly a wonderful experience! Our guide was so knowledgeable, explaining the history of both the time and the art of each piece we discussed. We would have been completely lost without him! The small group was also nice as we could all discuss together rather than just being “talked at”. In addition, the skip the line factor was also great, as it was a 3 hour wait to get in on the day we went

Guide was extremely knowledgeable on Louvre. Very friendly, fluent in English, answered our questions succinctly, etc. We recommend this tour.

Our guide brought the stories of the paintings, statues and the Louvre itself to life for us. Both couples shared what a wonderful guide he was!

Our guide was spectacular. He was knowledgeable about Art and how to navigate the Louvre ! We saw all the highlights including the MonaLisa up close

The guide was terrific and everything in the Louvre is exceptional and special. I especially enjoyed the sculpture and the paintings of France like the Coronation of Napoleon.
