Anais is a very knowledgeable art and history expert and she was very friendly and helpful. She took us on a guided tour of the Louvre, showing us many paintings, sculpture and royal jewels. She gave us relevant history for each installation / art piece which appreciating and understanding the artifact more vivid and 3-dimensional. Jen and I highly recommend the City Wonders guided tour and Anais specifically. Merci beaucoup, Ana is!

The guide Marie was very informative, but she talked to fast and she had very bad body odor! I had to stand far away from her!

This tour was a must if you wanted to get through the Louvre quickly. Addie our guide was great. We enjoyed her knowledge and beautiful smile.

Addy was a great tour guide, Knowledgeable and informative. Explain development of art from medieval through renaissance, escorted us to the highlights of the museum. Would have been nice to see more, but 2 1/2 hours it’s really enough. The radios had decent reception.
I did a little Egyptian art on my own at the end

We kept looking at the crowds and being grateful that we had a guided tour. With more than 38,000 artworks plus thousands of other items (jewelry, furniture, plates, etc.) it would be hard to know where to start on your own. Our guide, Anais, took us through the major sections, starting in the historic palace moat so we had a picture of the building's history. She guided us through the crowds, including bustling school groups, and discussed many significant and famous works. With Covid interrupting her guiding experience, Anais said we were her first private tour, which was a surprise since she did a great job. At the conclusion of our tour, Anais gave us directions to backtrack to the Angelina restaurant that we had seen along the tour, where we enjoyed a lovely lunch on a Louvre palace terrace!

Lucia guided us in and around for a far better experience than if we would have tried to do it ourselves. We had plenty of time to see the masterpieces and the Napolean III apartments. Lucia was spectacular with her pace and her knowledge. Her English was wonderful with no issues understanding her. We were a family of 5 and ended up spending 2:45 minutes with her. The little things like getting in and out and checking coats were much appreciated. However, the knowledge she gave us was invaluable to the experience otherwise would have been a lot of work to make sure we knew what we were seeing. Highest recommendation for Lucia and this private tour

We had an excellent private tour of the Louvre with Violette. She was extremely knowledgeable about the museum and its collection. She tailored the tour to suit our interests in art history without us having to sacrifice any of the major must-see masterpieces. By the end of the tour, a museum as daunting as the Louvre felt a lot more accessible to us.
I would highly recommend taking this tour!

This company has horrible customer service and will stiff you out of your fees if you’re not careful. Make sure you arrive very early for your tour otherwise they’ll leave you with no warning. I had trouble finding the tour guide because of all the different ones going on & the vague instructions, and I tried calling customer service who were useless. They said there was no way they could contact the guide and they would not accommodate us on a later tour or give us a refund. Other tour companies I’ve used will give you a text/email if they think you’re a no show to see if there’s any issues.

Lucia provided a top notch tour of the Louvre. Having a private tour for our party of two made the Louvre visit quite enjoyable (instead of feeling overwhelming). Lucia is warm and personable, and she possesses a wealth of knowledge. She's an art historian who asked what types of things we were most interested in, and then tailored the visit to our preferences.
The moment we met outside the Arc de Triomphe du Carrosel, Lucia began providing the history and context of the museum, as well as of the visible national monuments. This carried through the entire afternoon, and the time flew by. Lucia is easy to talk to with and she happily answered all of our questions. We highly recommend the Louvre private tour, and highly recomment Lucia.
