Wonderful experience on our tour with our guide Violette. It was nice to have someone so knowledgeable and friendly to guide us through the museum and talk about the exhibits. Highly recommend a tour with Violette!!

The guide was excellent and very accommodating (though sometimes a bit hard to understand because he spoke not too loud and because louvre was noisy, we suggest giving out headphones), but unlike us, our friends are poor and cannot afford it ;)

Our guide Romain was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to the entire group. Despite the overwhelming scale of the Louvre, he efficiently guided us to the most important pieces and offered some very interesting insights throughout the tour. The amount of coordination/confirmation of logistics ahead of the tour was outstanding. Highly recommended!

Dunya was so sweet and informative! Please be early and map the location where you need to meet. It was a small group of 6 and 3 members of the same group were almost 20 mins late and needed the toilet and a snack. This is a very quick highlights tour. I wish I could have spent more time here. Definitely worth the money and time

I appreciated, that there were tours/tickets available, as I waited a few days too long to book my Louvre entry tickets for 17€. So I paid stupid tax for not booking on time on the official website.
DO NOT WAIT to book, if you know, that you are going to go to the museum!
I paid €150 for 2 instead…through getyourguide, which were prompt in getting answers and touch base as I had more questions snd changes to make. Do get your guide is a pretty good service.
On the way to the tour, we were worried to be there late, as our Big Bus was not very fast getting from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre stop. The groups for the tour were still waiting on other stragglers though, so no problem!
Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable, had a good oversight of her group members and was very patient with us all, and people from other tours, who kept asking her questions and help from her.
The headphones were ok, but it was not easy to continuously follow along what was being said. I am not sure, if her microphone could have been placed better, but I had my volume turned up all the way.

You have to decide, if you want to get a Tourguide and easier admission process, or a much cheaper entry, and more time consuming legwork, maybe frustration, and preparation for where you want to go and the history about art observed.

Sean my guide was so good in showing to me the most important collection of the Louvre. It was a lucky day as I had him to myself as the other participant backed out on the last minute. Sean was able to answer all my questions, in a manner that is full of intellect but easy and interesting to absorb. His demeanor is so respectful but still fun. The tour was like a walk in the museum with a long lost friend who specializes in art history. Sean is a gem as a tour guide in the Louvre. The convenience of not lining is another plus factor of this tour. Fast and convenient! Also, Sean has a locker in the museum where you can leave your things to make your tour easy and relaxed.

Romain was an outstanding guide for the Louvre--truly exceptional. With his immense knowledge of sculpture and painting, not to mention his knowledge of the history of the Louvre itself, we could not have asked for a better guide. We were so enchanted by Romain that the 2.5 hours went by so fast! Thank you Romain!!

Anatole the tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgable and good humoured. We visited on one of the busiest days of the year and were able to skip the Que’s making the visit more enjoyable

If you are taking a trip to Paris this experience is a must! The private tour lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes. Taking you on journey through history. The Louvre was truly stunning, with more art and history than you could absorb in one trip. Our tour guide Florent's passion for the art made the experience even more incredible. Florent had a remarkable ability to bring the history behind each artwork to life. His engaging storytelling and deep knowledge not only made the Louvre's masterpieces visually stunning but also infused them with fascinating narratives. It felt like stepping back in time as he painted vivid pictures with his words, creating a truly immersive experience. Every member of our group was captivated from start to finish. I have never seen that on a tour before in my life.

I highly recommend booking this tour, and if you can, call ahead and ask to book Florent as your guide. My partner and I have been to many trips around Europe and this has gone down as one of the best. We will be using Babylon tours again.

Our (family of 4) tour of the Lourve w/ Sean was hands down the most memorable part of our trip to Paris! We wish we could’ve spent the entire day with him (3 hours flew by way too fast). Sean was beyond informative- he elevated our tour with fascinating insights and fun facts and showed us the highlights and also the hidden gems! We are thankful to have met Sean and would absolutely recommend him as the premiere tour guide at the Lourve!!
