Visit 2 cities in one day trip from Bangkok.

During this tour we will visit some historical temples in Ayutthaya and afterwards continue to Lopburi to visit the famous monkey-temple.

Ayutthaya, a kingdom that existed from 1350 to 1767, is a fantastic destination for culture lovers. During these four centuries, the country grew into the nation of Siam (the former name of Thailand), which roughly occupied the territory of modern Thailand, with the exception of the Lanna kingdom in northern Thailand.

Lopburi is one of Thailand’s oldest cities, being inhabited continuously since the Dvaravati era, that started 15 centuries ago. During the 10th century Lopburi became part of the Khmer empire. The Khmers built a number of impressive monuments, many of which still exist today.
During the reign of King Narai the Great in the second half of the 17th century, Lopburi was made the second capital of the Ayutthaya Kingdom.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS PER GROUP IS 10 PERSONS.

Ok, I'm not tour type...I get all itchie when i hear ramblings and I just want to run. This tour guide allowed me to go do my own thing (while others put a chain around your ankle). I explained my itch, he then would gave a brief history intro and said where the hit spots were, then off I went, and we then met up in the end. My kind of tour guide.

This tour was very special! Piya was an amazing guide, he knows the story of his country very well, loves to share many information and knows all the best spots to take photos! We also enjoyed to play with the monkeys. Just a small tips for the next participants of the tour: take into account that you will get dirty after playing with the monkeys! Better not to wear white clothes and maybe to bring something to change afterwards. After the monkeys the driver will take you to a gas station with nice and clean toilets where you can refresh and change. Thank you again Piya for this great experience!

Beautiful experience!
Piya, our super friendly guide, immediately put us at ease and made the visit never boring.
The part of the visit to the temples was very interesting, full of history to discover.
But my favorite part was the visit to the monkey temple.
If you are a lover of animals and history, this is the right excursion to do.
Piya teaches you how to understand, relate, behave and live with these beautiful animals.
I would do it again 100 times.
Thanks Piya!

This is beyond our expectation! We got lucky that there were only us in the group, so it’s kinda private. We went on Monday, so not so crowded. The highlight is the “monkey shepherd-ing”, if you will. It’s such a unique experience, i don’t think you can find anywhere else. And our guide, Piya, is the best. He knows every details! God bless him! 50 bucks per person for this whole day experience is totally worth it. I also argue both Western and Eastern travelers would love this tour! Just watch out for the heat ;)

Piya was a very interactive and prepared guide. He not only gave the group information about each location but also pointed out all the best spots to grab pictures at. He went above and beyond for the monkey experience by bringing food/drinks for guests to give to the monkeys.
