This was just a lovely tour. I highly recommend it if you are interested in learning about the history of London in WW2. Our guide Nathan was amazing. He is very passionate about the subject. Nathan didn’t just tell the fact, but also added his opinion about how history is made in general, which was very educational. His view was very important for me, because it adds a lot of perspective to understanding history. Really appreciated the time in this tour.

Our tour guide Nathan was very engaging and provided much insight into WW2 in London and the life of Winston Churchill. If you are a Churchill fan, we would highly recommend this tour. The walking tour lasted about 90 minutes and then you have time to visit the Churchill War Rooms and Museum on your own with an audio guide.

Most excellent tour with Nathan, whose command of the subject matter showed breadth and depth, with some interjection of wonderful humor besides. We especially enjoyed hearing about the remaining living WWII veterans from various British military branches and what their long running contributions to historical education have continued to be, even into their eleventh decades! His coverage of the Battle of Britain, other campaigns, and Churchill / the wartime bombing of London was the perfect prelude to the War Cabinet Rooms tour, which is a simply spectacular look back into British grit and determination across a timeframe when both were badly needed. No one should leave London without experiencing the War Rooms, and this tour and especially guide Nathan added imaginative and vital context.

We had a fabulous tour with Amber. Not only knowledgeable about London and Churchill, Amber was extremely energetic and engaging throughout the tour. It was well worth it and would highly recommend to anyone interested in the history behind some of London’s most iconic sites.
