Definitely the way to ride the London Eye! After finding the VIP Experience inside the building across from the Eye, we were escorted to a lounge/bar where we could enjoy pre-ride cocktails. Our guide, Owen, checked on us in the lounge and was sure everyone was ready to join him in the fast track line. The line moved quickly. The ride was perfect and Owen pointed out all the sights and history. The champagne was delightful. Would definitely ride again.

Excellent well run experience. Our hostess Georgie ran an efficient,chatty and friendly session. Lots of banter and interesting information about London and the Eye. The experience of the London Eye made all the better for a lovely glass of champagne. Well worth it!

We decided a ride on the London Eye would be romantic. Turns out, my partner is afraid of heights! The views were majestic, the city spread below us like a giant Monopoly board, but I spent half the ride providing "moral support" (and suppressing giggles). Apparently, panoramic views aren't everyone's idea of romance. Still, the photos are hilarious. And hey, we did spot Buckingham Palace...and a few pigeons that seemed a little TOO close for comfort.

Unprofessional Lounge. You buy your ticket with a glass of champagne. Noone tells you when the lounge closes. But it’s published somehwere in their website, as if you would check it with care. When you go to the lounge, they are closing and give you a big shrug, a big excuse and the following solution: “why don’t you come back tomorrow or go to customer service?”. Pouring a drink is 1 minute if you are a professional and care about your clients which is not what the staff at the Lounge are.

You definitely have to do it when the weather is good! Great, very high, unobstructed view!!
30 min. You first go to the counter in the building opposite and then to the 1st floor in the lounge. You will be picked up there to do the champagne tour. You can come late, you won't be able to get in before the time stated on the ticket anyway.
Alternatively, standard tour, book spontaneously if necessary depending on the weather.
We had a very nice guide and funny participants, including the famous Insta dog Gismo from NY with 10,000 followers!

Fabulous experience to mark my 60th birthday. From checking in, to lounge and the actual flight - a complete breeze and painless process. Bonus marks to our host Georgie. Lovely bubbly sense of humour and a joy to have as our guide.
